    I can understand pride for something that you've personally done. But pride for belonging to certain groups of people is really silly.

    "Proud to be a Juventino." It means nothing more than "I congratulate myself for making an arbitrary choice that has no impact on anything."

    But even that is marginally more meaningful than pride for not having made any choice at all, like a nationality.
    Being a Juventino means that you were in the right place at the right time when Juve were a winning team :D It's an arbitrary choice but still an accidental one.

    Being proud of a nationality is indeed the most absurd one, even more absurd than being proud of a religion (even though many people have had practically no choice there either.)

    Who was taking pride of being a rare breed? You must have misunderstood me Hoori. I said that since we're such a rarity, i can't help but have to meet a Libyan wherever i see one, its refreshing to find someone who speaks the same dialect as you(The difference between North African and Arab Peninsula dialects are so big, its as if they're two different languages) has the same culture, etc.
