Didier Deschamps has not ruled out coaching France one day but is happy to concentrate on trying to bring Juventus back to Serie A for the time being.
"Maybe, yes," the former World Cup-winning France captain told L'Equipe when asked whether he might coach France.
"Maybe one day I would like to coach France but for the moment, that's not what I want to do," he said.
"I'm only interested in the very high level," he added. "I'm not interested in being a coach just for the sake of it."
Juventus were demoted to the second division after being implicated in a match-fixing scandal.
"Coaching Juve is always going to be difficult, whether in Serie A or in Serie B," Deschamps said.
"It's a year of purgatory and sacrifices for the players and they know it.
"For me, personally, this is not a purgatory. It's an experience, something different. Obviously, I would prefer to be fighting for the Serie A title but I'm not a Serie B coach, I'm the Juventus coach."
