Read my sig

i'd rather take the Europa league as to blooding in new players, immobile, ariaudo, marrone.
I'd get a better kick out of watching them than Amauri, Legro and Melo.

ok, so obviously Juve played like mindless and gutless idiots tonight, but give credit to Bayern, I thought their every single players deserved a 8 rating, their were fighting for the ball as if their life depended on it, and Van Gaal really showed he knows this coaching business... their tactics was spot onbut yeah, we really sucks under Ferrera.
its not really got that much to do with Van Gaal, the management of Bayern have BACKED their manager and brought in TOP DRAWER european talent as well as proven Bundesliga talent.

we have brought in players for teh one position WE ALL know we dont need to reinforce and brought in a corked Cannavaro,a one-tournament wonder in Melo and bought a player who needs a team built round him, then bought all teh wrong sorts of players in Diego

Ciro is massively culpable on this, but the management handicapped him from the start

We have a core of players that a proper manager can build something around.

Giovinco, Marchisio, Diego, Melo, Sissoko, Chiellini and Caceres. The other five are really terrible and a bunch of these named players are being tortured by wrong tactics. If things don't get fixed soon we will not even make top four in the league.

Revolution is needed. Not just the coach. Trust me that a simple coach change without making changes in the team won't do nothing at all.

First of all, not only that for the last 5-6 years we're playing terrible football, without passing, without moving, without speed, but we can't even change that until half of our team is consisted of players who can't play different football now when they're 33 or 35.
If we want to improve we need to take drastic measures.

Not many will agree with me, very few will agree actually, but the ones i'll do everything to get rid of are Alessandro Del Piero, Mauro Camoranesi, Fabio Cannavaro and David Trezeguet. Some of them are my all time favorites, but we won't do anything at all while they are here.

A simple coach change won't do anything at all. Mauro and Ale won't become faster, some of our midfielders won't learn how to play passing game and move better and move in a meaningful way.
The old guard has given so much to Juve, but right now it's only preventing us from improving. The dependence on them is hurting us a lot.

Then buy fast players, players who are the exact opposite of the Italian football school.

That's the only way to improve. Nothing else.
It will take lots of guts to do it, and probably some time until it starts working. But if we keep the old guard it will take us even more time and we'll only become worse.
Agree no more Alen. I would say we can't stay on the past glory, we must move on. I don't say we need to sell all the old guard like DP, Camo, Trez. They can stay as sub. But at least we need regeneration. Even MU or Barca not keep their old guards as first team player, MU is the right example. Giggs, Scholes, Neville are rotated and Fergie not build the team around them.

For me, the better way is to change the coach first and then bring a player we need. But we can't buy a lot of players after we spent a lot last summer. I hope we can find several good talent with good price like in the past. For now, i don't even know what position to buy first because the players we have really underperform and not show their true ability and we have limited fund.

Milan even qualify from CL group, i don't believe this disaster. They are on 2nd position above us in Calcio and qualify from CL. We even make a joke and feel pity for them in the summer and start of the season.

    Shots (on Goal) 6(1) 22(7)
    Fouls 16 13
    Corner Kicks 2 11
    Offsides 2 3
    Time of Possession 37% 63%
    Yellow Cards 0 3
    Red Cards 0 0
    Saves 3 0

Those stats illustrate the serious drubbing we received tonight. Who wanted to win this game? Only one team in it from the start to the finish...and the scoreline could have been so much worse.

I agree with what Allen wrote regarding a massive renovation of the squad and management, but as we can't change the squad just yet, we MUST change the manager at once, and bring in a Boss who can at least steady the ship. We have DECENT players, who with a more experienced coach, would be far more secure...

lets steal Gasperini from genoa...or the King, Hiddink.

Clearly, Ciro is killing this club.

Of course we'll all start calling for Melo and Diego's heads, Legrottaglie's head, Caceres' head, etc., but the real problems are tactical ones. When Diego is all the way back retrieving the ball while Melo and Poulsen are chain-smoking at the centre circle, that's a fucking organizational problem. There are quality players in this squad, but they need to be organized properly and they need to show some drive. That means Ferrara's got to go, no question, but for the love of Christ replace him with someone who's competent tactically and can motivate the squad.
    !
why should we blame diego or melo ?

for my part i think diego does give enough for the team. if ferrara tells him to fall back into our own half (which clearly just robbs him energy to do what WE like him to do), than it is ferraras fault.

same with melo. melo does crappy tricks all the time. if we have a coach that need better glasses to actually notice this (after so many bad games) i can not really blame melo. he is just a "soldier" who does certain things. without someone to instruct him or properly use him, he is just one braindead zombie. in this case "properly use him" would be "bench him".

you could as well play molinaro as centre forward and blame him, why he does kick the ball 100 m above the goal ...

diego is no deep-lying playermaker, melo is in bad form, del piero is not fast enough to bypass any defender that is not older than him ... and if ciro does not see this, the fastest way of regaining "some" improvement is getting a better coach.

clearly we will not be worldbeaters with another coach, but another coach could easily transform us into a way better team that what we saw the last few weeks.

    ferrara's comments:

    Ferrara: "We threw it away"
    Tuesday 8 December, 2009
Ciro Ferrara admits Juventus were second best tonight and “threw away the Champions League in the last two games.”

Juve had only once failed to reach the knockout phase, in 2000-01, and it's their worst European home defeat since a 3-0 to Manchester United on February 25 2003.

A group of around 50 fans gathered outside the stadium to protest after this disastrous 4-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.

“It's terribly disappointing, but for everyone rather than just me. The club, fans and team know it hurts to go out of this competition, but we lost the last two games and tonight proved we're not capable of dealing with a situation like this,” said Ferrara.

“We're not good at holding on to a draw. Bayern were superior tonight in terms of sharpness, tactics and technique. We created very little.”

The Bianconeri only needed a point to qualify and had taken the lead through David Trezeguet, but collapsed in the second half. Some would suggest they were drained from the fiery 2-1 win over Inter at the weekend.

“It's difficult to say if Inter influenced, but I don't think it's right to look for alibis. You all saw how much physical and psychological energy we poured into Saturday's match, but having said that, this is a competition that has to motivate you.

“Their wide players often found space between the lines with very little resistance. It felt like we were running, but ineffectively.”

Diego and Felipe Melo have been criticised this season and had a particularly poor game this evening, booed off the field by the fans.

“I won't analyse individual players, I prefer to focus on a wider view of everyone, including myself. I don't think it's right to put the blame on anyone, as the whole team did not play up to scratch.

“Bayern remain a great side, even if they were coming off a difficult period. During the Champions League we had done pretty well, only to throw it all away in the last two games. That cost us dearly.”

let's be realistic pleaseee ! we were never good along the season...even in Inter game we were not good...but they are shitty...and when a shitty team like inter is on top of the table it just reflects how shitty is the italian football now...it'll be shown in the world cup clearly anyway

and i think it's very good we are disqualified....it's better than watching the team losing 7 or 8 from Barcelona or chelsea or manchester...this team has a long way to go to be called "good" and it needs many factors...a WC coach...good young players...a fixed formation...how come the coach changes the formation 3 times in 1 game !!! i'm really furious...we must start building a good team for 2 or 3 years...but we have to start ! what we are doing now is bullshit...and i'm not waiting for any trophy ..and not waiting for a good progress in the europa league...we will be beaten from wolfsburg or something...don't wait for anything !!
