Platini again admires Del Piero :

“Capello has charisma and knows when to play his best players and when to rest them,” added the former No 10.

“The strength of this club is that their squad is full of match winners, from David Trezeguet to Alex Del Piero, from Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Adrian Mutu, from Pavel Nedved to Patrick Vieira.

I think Platini is right. We are all judging while sitting infront of the TV, the best of us are goin to the match. Capello is with the team 24/7. I agree that sometime, I FEEL, that he made mistakes. In general he is doing fine. My only concern about Capello's stratigies that they are too conservative to win the CL.

good left foot finish from ale, overall, not a bad performance considering one assist and goal (i think that first major foul on him kind of made the rest of the game hard)

Del Piero was really good tonight, he took a lot of rough treatment from the livorno players, that really scared me, and I thought he'd sub out for injuries. But he stayed the whole match, and he really put in a lot of effort tonight and stamina, also had some really nice runs.
