mark my words...when wc2006 starts all juventuz fans(especially those who are more ibra fans) say why dp doesnt start for italy.........

(if it happens that dp goes to wc2006 and lippi will bench him, wich i think he might do)

Don't be so sure about that, if all players continue performing as they are without injuries I wouldn't be surprised if the line up would be something like this:
--------------------------Buffon
Zambrotta --- Nesta ---- Cannavaro --- Grosso
----Camoranesi --- Pirlo ---- Gatuso
------------------------Totti
-----------Toni/Gila -----------Del Piero

Lippi has been playing with three attackers for a while now, it seems that he will be taking this formation to the world cup. I don't blame him, its been successful.

I love your formation...I would only put Zambo on the left and Oddo on the right. Oddo is doing pretty good.

I also agree with this formation. Lippi might go for it, or he might use Cassano instead of Del Piero, or play with Toni and Gila together. He will probably alternate but he'll use the best lineup, I'm sure, and he'll exploit Del Piero the right way for sure. The only other forward I'm sure he's currently considering is Lucarelli who should go because he's the only real alternative to Toni. Cassano, Del Piero are very similar while Gila can play both roles, but better at Toni's role... so the question is whether Lippi can take 6 forwards. If he can't, Cassano might get the ax.

ALE WILL GET HIS CHANCE, MAYBE NOT IN THE FIRST MATCH BUT IN THE SECOND HE WILL, AND HE MAY GET A STARTING SHIRT IN THE 3RD GROUP GAME IF ITALY HAVE ALREADY QUALIFIED

Well, honestly the World Cup has its own momentum. For example, Rai was supposed to be WC94 star and was in the starting lineup at the beginning for brazil, but it didn't turn out that way. Del Piero IMO can do it this time, and it doesn't matter where he starts, because with Lippi, as soon as he thinks Del Piero is in great form, he'll use him constantly. My only regret here is that I think Del Piero already had that momentum in WC 2002, and if it wasn't for Trap, Del Piero could already have been the big star of that tournament. At the end, we only had that glorius glimpse against Mexico. This time I sincerely hope and believe it will go all the away. The Last Chance, the Day of Judgement.
