I just read on a newsgroup about a juventino that, after Dp's record, bet 12€ on 3 (the goals scored yesterday), 1, 8, 5 in an Italian bet event. The extracted numbers today were (among others) 3, 8 and 5. He won 452€

It's not the first time that I hear something like this, though. In the last extraction before May 5th 2002, an Interista bet 14, 25, 3 (the scudetti he hoped Inter, Juve and Roma would have had after Lazio-Inter ). Too bad that the extracted numbers that time were 13, 26, 3. There is a post on the net were he writes that he's a bit worried about these numebers :rofl2:

Fabio Capello insists there will be room in his plans for Juventus' record-breaker Alessandro Del Piero.

The attacker became Juve's leading goalscorer on Tuesday evening when he scored a hat-trick in the 4-1 victory over Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia.

His treble took him to a tally of 185 goals for the Old Lady, moving him in front of previous record holder Giampiero Boniperti, who scored 182 times for the club.

But though Del Piero has etched his name into the annals of the Turin club's illustrious history, he has been unable to command a regular place in the team this season.

Juve coach Capello has tried to assuage concerns that Del Piero will be limited to playing a peripheral role for the remainder of the campaign.

Instead, Capello has lauded Del Piero's present form and confirmed he will be a valuable member of the side's pursuit of domestic and continental honours.

"Del Piero is in a great physical condition," said Capello.

"I've already said that until the end of the season there will be space for everyone and certainly for Del Piero, too.

"We will need the necessity to do a turnover to reach the end of the season in a good way."
