Del Piero: We Lost A Battle
11/1/2005 10:55:00 AM
The Juventus captain took the defeat against Milan with philosophy.
The Old Lady suffered its first league defeat of the season on Saturday night, a defeat which Alessandro Del Piero wants to forget quickly

“We lost a battle, even though important, the road is still very long and therefore the only thing to do is take this defeat, check what did not work and correct our shot, metabolizing it as soon as possible.”

The Bianconeri are ready to get back on track already from Wednesday.

“From Tuesday we shall necessarily turn page and we shall re-start to work to improve again, also because there’s another ‘stellar’ encounter awaiting us on Wednesday night against Bayern for the Champions League.”

first and foremost what a player he has been over the years, a loyal servent to the club and a fantastic spokesman for the club. i am sure when he retires he will be offered a good position in the club as he is very eloquent and can hold court with the press very well
