The squad is well balanced and has good depth.

With all my respect and appreciation for Camoranesi, I still think De Rossi is the better option to play on the left and Gattusso on the right. If Camoranesi is to play, it will be on the account of Gattusso, but the latter is needed because of his ability to win balls and re-gain possession. Camoranesi can be included when creativity and better crosses are needed.
The formation is well studied by the way.
Notice Del Piero and his versatility, he can substitute two players Totti or Cassano.
Who is better than Vieri as a substitute in the striker role?

I dont understand how people can include De Rossi in front of Camoranesi.
I just dont get it. De Rossi is a talented youngster in Roma 2005.. Camoranesi is Juventus best player 2005.

De Rossi would never make the same effort as Camo does in Juve within the 2-3 upcomming seasons. His game is mature for his age but definatly not matching Seedorf, Zidane etc. all players that Camo outplayed.

You could substitute De Rossi with appiah, casseti etc. Who is to substitute Camo? (esposito is not ready for a world Cup)..

Camo has been my favourite for many years but I dont think he was an obviouus choise last year.. But this year, give me a break!

Camo is better then De Rossi in everything. Camos defensive responsabilities this season were tremendous. his technical play and his eye for game.

Give me Vicente, Jouaquin, and I might aggre... but De Rossi???? plzzzzz

We're getting a bit off topic here with De Rossi, but De Rossi has yet to have a season close to what Camo pulled last year for us.

Still, De Rossi is a great youth prospect with a lot of promise. Give him a couple more years and I think that question is worth asking again.

De Rossi is on the left, not in front of Camo. Gattusso is in front of Camo and yes to that.
