30 years is not to much for a player. And the more important topic related to this onr is DEL PIERO LEAVING.Zlatan said that he is looking forward to see Del Piero out of Juve.Why....probably becuse of more space in the attack for ibrahim.
How all of you forgot what Del Piero means to us?
I did, but it has nothing to do with Ibrahimović. Contrary to popular belief, I am not an Ibrahimović fan, I only want whats best for the team, and I believe Del Piero is not it. It really has nothing to do with Zlatan personaly.

I don't care if Zlatan is the next Maradona, But when he doesn't performe We should Subs, and thats it. This is Football, who doesn't performe kick his ass to the bench... Even Cassano was Sub this year and not Montella, though Montella is above 30(i guess)....

Zlatan is not the wonder Kid here, and he can't change the game in 2min, So he should be treated Just like the others, Zlatan doesn't shit diamond or gold.

Thas ironic, because that's exactly what WASN'T done with Del Piero. He was played for 2 full years before he discovered any form, keeping much more in form players on the bench.

And besides, Del Piero has lost the ability to change the game in 2 minutes as well.

I may say that you also don't have the real arguments.
Then maybe you should read back on previous posts when I could actually be bothered to discuss this same topic for the hundredth time, and I'm not just talking about Zlatan either.

There's really no point bringing up the same arguments when:
  • They go in one ear and out the other
  • They're countered with the same redundant blindness that we've seen for the past 5 seasons.

giov, I Salut you for your Classy posts and your reply, Specially after you were Insulted.:thumb:
Thanx azzurri!;)

I really can't understand people who in lack of argumants start to offend someone.

Ibrahimovic9 ,and Zlatan said that I hate ibrahim because I'm from Belgrade, which is silly argument and a start of something which doesen't have any connection to football
Don bes stated ignominiously, and Jeeks thinks that it's funny...

TBH, I hardly see what I said as an insult, it's more like a probability, and a big one at that. I merely noticed how you were reffering to him, and what you said in previous posts.

Ok,as I said many times before ,there are different opinions here and mine is that we should respect our captain,Del Piero, because he is the captain of Juve, the team which connect all of us here.
When (if) Del Piero leaves,I will remain a Juve fan so I hope that others will too,but my love for Del Piero will never fade away wherever he goes.

I hardly see that I will continue to communicate with you, because you started to politicking my posts, and there is no place for such behaviour here.

When I said that Juve unites us you simply jumped over that like I never said it,but when I said that I prefer Del Piero over ibrahim, you said that I'm from Belgrade and that it's the main reason for doing that.

I didn't say that tahts the reason you prefer Del Piero over Zlatan, I said it's the reason you dislike Zlatan. You can prefer Del Piero fo other reasons as well. In fact, I didnt even say it. Insinuated, maybe, but I don't think I was wrong to make that conclusion. Maybe it isn't true, but IMO it wasn't unfitting to make that assumption.

I don't know many people here who don't respect our captain for what he's done in the past, and for his professionalism etc.

The main point of argument when it comes to Del Piero is whether he should get more/less playing time than he does, but whether people think Zlatan/Mutu/Chadwick should get more playing time than Del Piero, I think the general concensus is that he deserves respect as our captain.

If you yhink something that's one thing, but when you know it that's valid so you should distinguish these two.And if you say it,that's not the conclusion that's an open insult.
And one more thing, did you get it that ibrahim is from Sweden,he was born there?
Did you get that I dislike mihajlovic and stankovic? No,you only state the things and the arguments which conform you!

So we should do the same with Zlatan because Del Piero used to play alot 2years ago?

Anybody want to see another reasonable post that nobody wants to admit or acknowledge? Here you go. The answer to all this "Capello hates DP" nonsense.

++ [ originally posted by Andy ] ++

How many times do I have to go over this?

Ibrahimovic is kept on all the time because, even though he might not be playing well, he can still hold up the ball and win 50/50 ariel challenges better than any player on our team.

As the matches go on we tend to resort to high balls up to our forwards, usually because we have the lead and try to pack the defense in. Since we play long balls up to our forwards Del Piero is left stranded most of the time because he cannot win ariel challenges with his back towards goal. So since we resort to long balls and Del Piero cannot do much with those, Capello brings on a more capable player in this situation- the big, strong Zalayeta. The latter can win air balls and trouble a tired defense with his strength. Zlatan is kept on because he can always trouble a defense with his strength and air power even when he is not on his game.

Don't tell me to explain this to you guys again. This shit is as clear as day as far as I'm concerned.

I think that's totally missing the point, Zlatan has years ahead of him. , its really crazy that people cant see the simple truth.
Blinded by love for Del Piero. He was a great player and captain, but there are simply better options or better investments for Juve.

BTW, with all due respect fort DP, You wont win championships by only having respect for a players past.

DP was better this season than last but I can hardly call him a star player. more of a famous player.

The LEAST could be said that what he did this is season was good enough to win him a chance to compette with others for a starting place next year...
