Ibrahimovic is kept on all the time because, even though he might not be playing well, he can still hold up the ball and win 50/50 ariel challenges better than any player on our team.

As the matches go on we tend to resort to high balls up to our forwards, usually because we have the lead and try to pack the defense in. Since we play long balls up to our forwards Del Piero is left stranded most of the time because he cannot win ariel challenges with his back towards goal. So since we resort to long balls and Del Piero cannot do much with those, Capello brings on a more capable player in this situation- the big, strong Zalayeta. The latter can win air balls and trouble a tired defense with his strength. Zlatan is kept on because he can always trouble a defense with his strength and air power even when he is not on his game.

Don't tell me to explain this to you guys again. This shit is as clear as day as far as I'm concerned.

So we should always Sacrifice Del Piero because Capello is playing with diff tactics?

Another point Andy, I don't think if a player is not fit and not playing well can threatin defenders IMO...

Dude, no offense but you are just switching your argument around to favor Del Piero's case. This explanation is so simple to see really and I don't understand what the problem is. Sure you want Del Piero to play but it was better for the team to have him substituted and bring in a more capable player to deal with our tactics.

And yes, if Capello changes tactics any player should subbed if neccesary.

I don't undesrtand why you guys continue this stuff about Alex.we all know that the most in-form players MUST play.I'm a DP fan but I don't care if he's benched when he's out of form.but I totaly AGIANST the ones who say Juve should sell Alex.why we should do this?he was an important player for us this season and if he keep himself in this form he should stay and play.I really hope he end his career at Juve.you know Capello doesn't play him because he is Del Piero(what sometimes Lippi did when he was our coach).so why some wants he leave Juve?worry about his wage?Juve pay him and it's none of our business because it's just what Alex and Moggi agreed about when Alex signed a new contract.
