30 years is not to much for a player. And the more important topic related to this onr is DEL PIERO LEAVING.Zlatan said that he is looking forward to see Del Piero out of Juve.Why....probably becuse of more space in the attack for ibrahim.
How all of you forgot what Del Piero means to us?
30 years is not too much, but when you have an alternative you try to pick the best option u have and giving zlatan experience is a better investment.

I agree with Andy, it must hurt to see such a comment against our captain but Zlatan does want more room for himself. And thats reasonable.
Zlatan looks forward to become the next Star just like all young players, and if you were in Zlatan's shoes you would feel the same way.
Being straight forward has always been zlatan's ways, he just doesnt consider the politics of his comments and says whatever is true in his heart and mind.
Personally I think he should learn to hold things back like his emotions and comments, because Im afraid he can turn out to be our Totti.

I think I miss understood giovanotti's post, did you mean that Zlatan(forum member) said the comments about DP and not Zlatan Ibrahimovic (juve player) ? Or what?

Hello to everyone! I'm writing this from Frankfurt, while waiting for the flight to Tokyo. I can see the exhausted but happy faces of my team mates and of all the staff around me, a clear signal of the recent celebrations and of all the hard work.....some moments of yesterday's unforgettable party are still very clear in my mind clashing with the aseptic every-day airport life: actually it's a good chill out, a decompression before plunging into Tokyo's frenetic atmosphere! A celebration on the pitch, on the terraces, inside and outside the stadium and around the city....an unprecedented occurence, like the Cup handed to us on the field - at last - and the ceremony in front of a packed Delle Alpi (thank you all, we weren't expecting so much! We have wonderful supporters), not to mention the tour of the city on the double-decker bus, singing and dancing with all our supporters like on a carnival wagon, really amusing, with a huge crowd around us. A worthy party after so much hard work and suffering: hard earned and well deserved by all of us. This is my 6th Championship won and yesterday it was score N° 14 for me: important figures that pay back for all what has been done up until now. I must leave you now, they're calling our flight. More news soon from Japan!

Andy, when one explains the tactical reasons for subbing Del Piero and keeping Zlatan (the Juventus player), they reply to you "and you call this justice/fair/whatever?"

Then you explain again, and they accuse you of being a Del Piero hater.

Then you are almost out of arguments but you find and argument and come up with it and they tell you "you are stupid and you don't appreciate what Del Piero has done for the club"

For these mentioned above I will try to avoid this discussion with people who REFUSE to see or understand another point of view.

Enjoy your vertical hand motion.

Why do you insist that we forgot what Del Piero did or means to us?

I dont where we got in this arguement at this point, but there is something that I would like to point out. I dont think that it would be better to sell Del Piero, no matter what replacement we get ( Cassano, Gilardino) because the much needed experience in our strike force would be missing. Look at our forwards if we hypothaticaly sell DP and get Cassano:

-Trezeguet (Most experience, but no leadership qualities what so ever)
-Zlatan (23, no experience at big stages)
-Mutu (Little or no experience)
-Cassano (extremely talented, but not much experience)
-Zalayeta (.)

There would be no one with experience in attack with Juventus, and the team would suffer. Three of the attackers are relativly new and you expect them to adapt immediatly, thats impossible. You dont have to play Del Piero in every game, yes give the other players the chance to shine, but still play the old guard, let him teach the young players the same way he was taught by greats such as Vialli and Baggio. If Del Piero is sold the whole team would change, he is the longest serveng player at the club and none of the players from his generation would be still in the team.

But wouldnt all this be too drastic, to sell Del Piero, why sell this much experience in the game and a player who would play extremely well and lead by example. Cassano could learn from him, and cool down.

I never wanted to sell Del Piero... apart from the fact that we wouldn't get much money for him, his experience is valuable to the team. However, I must admit that I think there are better options than Del Piero in attack.
