We don't have BETTER options means that Del Piero is the best to do the job at the moment. I did not in anyway say what you accused me of saying that he is doing a bad job. Go get your facts straight then come and state your bullshit.

I think what Zlatan is trying to say is the ability to lead a team, something Del Piero does not accomplish all the time. IMO a leader is a player that has to bring enthusiasm to the team to perform at tough times. Many times when the team is not performing you see Del Piero crashing down with them.

in my opinion this is what you call bad right?

I asked how can Del Piero be the captain if the only plays 60mins in a game.
Then YOU said

++ [ originally posted by Jeeks ] ++

Maybe it is the other way around and this is why he is playing only 60 minutes.

so that means because hes a bad captain, that he is playing 60mins

The last time I will explain something to you.

What I meant was he is not the best captain there is but he is the best captain available for Juventus.

Now go drink your milk and go to sleep.

Even though I don't like much Tacchianrdi as a player, I always thought that whenever he was playing as the captain he showed more grit and determination than DP on the field, thus making him a better leader. Unfortuantely he has become a crap player therefore he won't have much chance of playing anymore.

I never said I want Zlatan to replace Del Piero as Captain. Infact I want an Italian Captain of Juventus, hopefully Cannavaro once Thuram and Del Piero are out of the equation and perhaps Chiellini after that. The latter could be a very good leader in the future.
I agree.

your really trying hard to find tinny things about Del Piero, and what you just stated is wrong, though I agree that Tacchi is one of my fav players and deserve the armband after Alex(If you ask me)....

Being Captain doesn't mean he should carry a stick with him and run behind his mates and beat them and ask them to win the game, having the armband is what you produce on the field from your experience and you have to know how to deal with some difficult sitiuation(which I don't find any player better than Alex on handling these kind of sitiuations, Like Ref, Fans, the one Vs Roma, etc)
Being a Captain means you can help your team and they can learn some from you....

So, I don't see any player better than Alex to be the Captain Honestly...(Juve)

Yes, Sergej Barbarez IS the Leader:howler:
es, maybe not the best one but certanly more of a leader than Del Piero, and if you had actually seen him play for the NT you'd wipe that smile of your face.

Perhaps I don't know him Like Zlatan does, But one thing am sure of Great leaders can always make it to Serie A, or atleast EPL, not playing for an average football club in Germany.

Leadership skills have little to do with football skills. But I'm not surpirsed you don't understand that.

You went to another point, Zlatan once stated that His fav player is miles better leader than our Captain(which kept me laughing the whole night) Anyhow If he's Sergej Barbarez better leader than Del Piero, I guess some Interests could atleast be shown.

Never said he was a better football player, but he is a better leader, and by a country mile at that.
