I know it's not absolutely necessary to play with a target man, which is why I'd be willing to play with Cassano and Zlatan in the same lineup (though if I had the option, I'd use an attacking Tre--Zla--Cass trident.

But due to our overall style of play (without a playmaker), it becomes necessary to have a target man, since a lot of our action comes down the wings. Having Zlatan and Trezeguet, who are two tall players with great physical presence, is essential if you're going to have Zambrotta and Camoranesi pumping in crosses all the time.

The reason why some teams can afford to play without a pure target man is because their style of play is (usually) more centralised, with most of the action going through a playmaker ala Totti, Ronaldinho
U have a point...

No, you dont. And you never will!
Mutu + Appiah
or
we can use the cash in case we sell Trezeguet...

One more thing Roma & Sensi simply have no choice if they won't let him go for some cash that could help their budget they can let him go for free when they end like Fiorentina..

no doubt that would be the most feard strike forces, but.. Cassano will get injured ofcourse. and if zlatan does, there will be no backup. im sure juve could get the money another way.

I'm not too desperate to get Cassano since we have Mutu, though of course I wouldn't be complaining if we traded him for Cassano.

I'm not talkin about our next game against Atalanta..
end of the discussion, just answer my question:
U have Zlatan, Trezeguet, Cassano in u team
choose two of them to start u next match.....
the reason we are going in circles is because u dont meet all our points head on and choose to go round it....

My point of view is simple:
I hate Trezeguet playing style and I don't find it holy to play the likes of him in every lineup match after match...

there .. when u state a statement like that it would easier for us to do this.

so in the end its all about your preference of style of goal rather then the team's objective. there is nothing wrong with that of coz. You are a fan so u entitle to say your taste..

but i glad Capello has the other perspective. The only player have goals written on his forehead in our attacking lineup is David Trezeguet. Which is the obvious reason why he should be the first attacker on the team list when fit. Zlatan-Del Piero is a very blunt partnership goal wise..... what ever David Trezeguet do, he does it right..u cannot deny that fact. u cant just say you glad David Trezeguet score a lot of goals, but u wish him to change his style of play. that wont be consistent.

U want to bench Zlatan??? wait for some Zlatanist to hear u saying this :D
to be honest i dont fancy Zlatan very much. he is not a goal getter. He have to fight for place with Cassano.

every team have a specific player to go to FOR GOALS. Milan-Shevchenko, Roma-Montella, Inter-Adriano, Juve-Trezeguet....doesnt matter how they get them, but this people bring goals. ...zlatan isnt among these peoples...

For God sake from where u had hear this crap :fero:

We've said it before and we'll say it again: we don't care what else Trezeguet does, because he scores goals, and that's all that matters in football.

Find me player who can score as many goals as Trez does and more, and I'll gladly trade him for Trezeguet, but until then we need him to bang in the goals, because nobody else on this team can
