Conte was talking about how Del Piero conducts himself in general and how he's important to the team even when he doesn't play, mentions all the obvious qualities like professionalism. Del Piero doesn't mind playing for four minutes or longer to help out the team because he has those qualities.

Recently I think if this season can hurt Ale in the future. Cause after many years that he played regulary, he doesn't play at all. What do you think? It's gonna have any effect on him? And if so, which? I mean a season like that can slow him down, or this long long- too fucking long- rest can only help him?

Champion's title of league's midpoint doesn't mean anything, the main thing is to be at the top at the end of the championship, that's true and nobody argues with that. But still... it is definitely better to lead the ranking now, than to be somewhere near the bottom, right? Well, I know it sounds rather banal... but the answer is sure it is! We know that we have done only half of work so far -we shouldn't forget about it - but we are happy with the results we have reached by now and we aren't going to give up!

Our next game in Italian Cup against Roma is an important one: we are more than determined to give our best because this is a target to reach that I personally and all of us in the team do care a lot about.

And now I'd just like to say a few words about two champions that are my friends.

First Totti: Francesco, the record you've set is an extraordinary one, 211 goals for Roma, a league record for single club! Well done, indeed!Il

And then, David Trezeguet, who has just joined River Plate and started his adventure in the best possible way: with a goal! I know he's always wanted to go back to Argentina, and I'm really happy for him

See you soon, Alessandro.

Not playing at all in the league will affect you from all points of view. That also apart from the fact that he's Alessandro Del Piero.
