Even if it was an agreement, it was Ale who should have announced it and not Agnelli. Why now? Why when the season has already started and there is still a long way ahead? I'm really looking forward to reading Ale's comments on it but for now I can't help disliking everything about this club from top to bottom.

Wow people jumping the gun in here. Have some composure, wait and see how it plays out and don't react until you're certain that you have the correct information.

The timing and manner of the announcement is bizarre to say the least. It should have come from the man himself (Alex), at least near the end of the season.
However, disliking "everything about the club"? Over this?
I guess your priority as a fan is Del Piero and not Juve?

No it's merely the straw that broke the camels back. With everything that's happened post Calciopoli including the mistreatment of several Juventus legends, i don't blame her at all.
The event began with a focus on an earlier statement made by Agnelli, relating to Del Piero having signed his last contract with Juventus: “It was correct to pay tribute and thank Alessandro in the Shareholders’ Assembly for what he’s done for Juventus,” stated Agnelli. “Doing so in the presence of President Boniperti, with whom he signed his first contract, was a rightful acknowledgement of a great man and a great captain, recognising everything he’s represented throughout the club’s history. After all, Alessandro was the first to say that this would be his last contract with Juventus.”

Del Piero is my priority. I have already said it many times. If things come to an end in a natural way I'll still love this club as the club I started watching football with but if Del Piero's era finishes at Juve in such a way, I'll never follow this club anymore.
