Errr, yes and no. Dinho and Cassano always try hard and seemingly impossible passes, that many times work and find the target. Del Piero rarely does that. Afterall, check Del Piero's assists in the last years and you will see that huge majority are set pieces or simpler passes (there are exceptions, of course. I remember an amazing pass to Marchisio against Fiorentina two seasons ago).
The difference between him and Iaquinta is obvious though. Then again, I'm not sure if Iaq actually belongs to the above list, unlike all the others in it.

It might be though because he knows the others in our attack can't read him well and will never figure what to expect and what to do so it will be futile to play at different level and he has to lower his game to their level. The fact is though that he rarely tries more complicated passes.

Like I said, it might be because the others in our attack don't have his football intelligence and don't have the same understanding that Trez developed with Alex. It was different when Trez was here and it would be different if Del Piero's partner(s) in attack is someone who is more intelligent football-wise than Iaquinta and Amauri.
He makes fancy passes or difficult passes quite often. When we had Zambrotta on the left who was easily reading Ale, there was always a nice combination between the two with Ale passing the ball to Zambrotta in good positions for making crosses. But then we had De Ceglie, Grosso and Molinaro there yet Ale tried to do the same with those limited players as well like the pass he made for DC against Ajax. He is a great passer of the ball, not only those simple passes (which are still different from the passes Iaq makes which are only supposed to shift the ball to another player not necessarily being in a better position) but he is also great at making fancy and difficult passes.
What Alen says is true, the direct passes arent more complex anymore, prolly because Yaki and Amauri has little to no positional sense in the final phases of attacks.
I see him do rather excellent passes in the start of the build ups to the attacks, while spreading and intiating attacks (it wasnt much complex passes, but for example is he build up in the Udinese game), but not the final balls as much, like we used to see with the insanely good flicks and nice chips to Trez.
