I thought he had a bad/mediocre game aside from the goal, which was pretty good, I enjoyed it quite a bit. The best I can say is that at least he was better than Iaquinta, who I'm not sure even touched the ball more than 3 or 4 times in this game.

He has had mediocre games in the past couple of weeks but this one certainly wasn't one. A goal, two assists and was probably our only attacking player apart from Krasic who did something.

Well, the goal was pretty good, exciting stuff but the other 2 juve goals were huge defensive mistakes combined with luck and Chiellini's positioning. Certainly the first one wasn't an assist, it was a series of rebounds that fell to Chiellini.

Other than the goal, his actual play on the pitch was ranging from bad to mediocre, failing to create anything and his goal came from been given too much space, something that doesn't happen that much in Serie A. The team was dismal this evening though, so he stood out in a team with few ideas other than Krasic's runs and Chiello's heart.

Let me tell you something. You know, when you grow older, you start to realise things much better. But also, you don't have the legs that you had when you were young.Del Piero is old.So old he can be a father to some that are present on this forum. You know when we will truly miss Alex? When he will retire. We will miss not only the times he was young, with pace and stamina, but we will miss the actual days, when he is slow and old.But he still is the best at Juve.He is the only one who can make a difference.Krasic can dribble, but he is not a genius,he is just good.Chelli is the heart of Juve, but still,is not enough.I think most of you must learn to appreciate Alex,we will not have something like him never.

Ale: This is the most beautiful goal i've ever scored with my left foot

BTW, i'm watching the second half now (download it from the multimedia thread) and the GOLTV commentator just went crazy when Ale scored. He shouted something like:"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" when the ball hit the net and then praise him for like a whole mintue. He said:"Alexander the great!!! he lights up the stadium with his personality! it's not just power, it's pure, fabulous italian technique!!!"

Del Piero and Gary Twigg swapped shirts at the end of the second leg against Shamrock Rovers.

The jersey Del Piero got is now for sale on Ebay.
There's a player from last night's match kept following Del Piero and asking him for his jersey, Del Piero was pointing his finger at someone else like he'll swap it with someone else, the guy kept begging and Del Piero couldn't do much but smile.
