Then Act like a real fan and show some respect for a legend of the club..

It isnt his fault if managers still play him they cant all have no balls to drop him. The fact of the matter is that over the last 10-12 years he has pretty much been our best player ever year. yeah we all know that he isnt the player he was at the height of his career but he still has a positive effect on the game.

It not sentimental - we built the club around this player and he hasnt disappointed, now it is time to do it again with someone else.
I'd show more respect for him if he had retired and let space for the new generation to succeed him. He is way too popular and it doesn't surprise me if that's part of the reason why the manager wanted to get rid of Diego, you simply can't leave Del Piero out of this team.

He has been a fundamental part of the team, but it's time to move on instead of seeing him play like shit and cling to his glory years. Why haven't we started to build around someone else? Because Del Piero is still playing and wants to play and no one will deny him that.

And again, being a Juve fan doesn't equate to being in love with Del Piero. I demand performance every year, and if a player is past it, despite the history, it's time for the player to move on.

I agree we need a 'NEW' Del Piero, but surely that is that mangers decision they cant all be wrong.

Look Juve dont normally have sentiment for a player, look at who we have got rid of in the past Baggio, Zidane its not that it is just there is no decent replacements.

Even Diego wasnt this, he couldnt go past players like DP used too, Cassano should have been the DP but unless we sign him this year he has left it too late to sort his career out.

Even if there's no perfect replacement, Diego was still the best player we had available and we sold him for nothing instead of keeping him and let him combine with Krasic and Aquilani, it would have given the team a lot of agility and creativity, despite the lack of a Del Piero replacement.

But we sold Diego so that Del Piero could get more playing time. I'm in love with Marotta :weee:

God I didn't even imagine that the departure of a player like Diego could do this to Juve fans. Half is crying as if we had missed a player like Messi, the other half has become mental; from Marotta being Moratti's spy to Marotta being Del Piero' puppet :D

you can't call yourself a juventus fan if you're happy that diego is off on that pathetic money. Oh and for those who believe that dp had something to do with diego's departure = you're idiots

Well yeah, Diego left.
You are being very silly, you know that?

Coming in here saying we should party in the Del Piero thread makes you look very silly. I know what you're trying to achieve here though.

Do you really think any of us here dislike Diego? Or are celebrating that he left?

I expected more from you, really.

Oh c'mon Rab, stop doing that. Stop thinking I hate Del Piero...I know you don't have anything against Diego. Ask Seven, even he knows I'm trolling and even I said it later http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2659084&postcount=7868

Stop being a bitch and lets hug it out.
No bro, I don't think you hate Del Piero. I just think he's not given respect for undeserved things that is currently happening. I'm sure Del Piero himself isn't happy with the fact that Diego left let alone Juve fans.

Ibrahimovic is the only player I disliked for starting undeservedly ahead of Del Piero. Diego is a player I love, respect since day 1 he joined.

Anyway, sorry for my reply earlier I just thought this trolling doesn't help the current atmosphere we're having here.

Alot of people keep saying Del Piero is past his best but what they don't say is that even so, he is still better than most stikers who play today and definitely better than ALL of the strikers juve currently have
