:lol2::lol2: Good one.

Okay, I'll let someone else argue with you here. I can't keep arguing with someone that can't bring the football aspects but state false facts.
Yeah, sure.

It becomes fashion here. Everyone who wants to look cool he has to degrade Alessandro Del Piero. Hey look at me, I'm against Del Piero, how do I look? I know people will be pissed but it will make me look special.
Not really, but that can be said when people like you defend him no matter what.

Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to Ciro's quote. You have no proof he didn't say that but it sounded like that, at least when you look how Ciro said it.

Zidane was 34 back then? Again he's not a striker and that role is much easier to play for an older player. Romario? Well yeah, I guess he did good at Al-Sadd and Vasco da Gama? Even Ronaldo who weights 110kg plays in Brazil, but that doesn't have to mean a thing. Maldini and Zanetti aren't strikers as far as I know.

Well yeah, they do know more than I do. So if he's not playing right now you also can't moan about it - I guess there's a reason he's not being used.
Guess what? If you knew a thing about the game you would understand why I mentioned Zidane. Midfielders run more than strikers. So Zidane had to put double effort at the age of 35. And please 1 year difference makes a whole lot difference? God wonders Ale at the age of 37 if he'll turn into handicap if that's the case.

Romario beofre joining the Arab side he single handedly helped Brazil to qualify to the world cup.

He's not playing right now because Del Neri has different views on how he wants his formation to be played. Wait until the season starts, you will be in no different than the other when Ale proves the likes of you wrong.

Keep mentioning the fake statements, it helps you I must say.

That guy is a freak of nature. The same rules don't count for him. :D

He's an exception of the rule. Del Piero obviously isn't. Even a hard working player like Nedved, who previously looked like he can play 2X90 minutes, started losing speed and stamina when he turned 34-35.
Nah, I'm pretty sure people still think that Del Piero has Zanetti stamina and runs like Maradona at his prime.

They can't accept the fact that he's getting older and older and that he can't help as much as he did 2 years ago...or even last season.

Ciro said "Del Piero makes himself always available, and he is eager and wants to play every game for Juventus"..

Thats says more about Del Piero's passion to Juventus and football than anything else.
Capello the one who benched Del Piero more than any other coach was praising Del Piero even when he left at Madrid saying how class he was and a role model.

Lippi, Zach, DD, Ranieri all had classy things to say about Del Piero even when they left but no, Ciro's word makes it all real. A REAL STATEMENT.

Ok well then name me a striker who did great at the age of 36. It should be easy because you don't have to count all midfielders that run a lot more than those strikers.

I guess you're frustrated now. I never said Del Piero is hopeless and I know that because I don't even think you were reading to my posts. I never said he shouldn't play for us. So no, he can't really prove me wrong because you have no idea what was my statement about Del Piero in the first place.

Dule = Del Piero hater
Well of course. Who didn't see that coming.

Stop pretending you liked it, Rab. You hated when you saw him on the bench and you were cursing Capello when he made that statement about Del Piero when he left. You said he's a cunt and now you praise him?

And it still doesn't change anything. Who doesn't think great of Del Piero and who doesn't prise him is a nut case. Again, it wasn't even my point to begin with.

Listen, I don't know what are you trying to achieve but I will tell you that you won't achieve anything, because:

1. One group of people will come to the same conclusion you came up with, even without you saying all these things.
2. The other group of people will never accept what you say and you can only end up fighting with them, with the finale being the same as the start of the discussion.

Personally, I think that Del Piero can give more in the last 30 minutes than in the opening 60. Actually, I think he can score and assist more or less the same in the last 30 min as in the opening 60 min. The difference being that Diego can score and assist more in 60 than in 30 min.
No matter if some agree or disagree with me, I don't give a damn. They can't change my mind. Only Del Piero can. Until then I have this opinion, you have yours, someone has his.

One of the things you should know or learn in this sport. Speed is not everything.

They can't accept the fact that he's getting older and older and that he can't help as much as he did 2 years ago...or even last season.
Yeah, he's harming the team :cry:cry:

Let the old man retire, waaaaaaah.

You know why? Because he has never let me down. He has let the likes of you down though. ;)
It doesn't mean I don't like him. Just that you love this man too much, and you'd stand behind him no matter what happens or what someone says. It makes you biased, not me.

lol if you think I hate Del Piero then go on. I also wanted Nedved to play less in the last season as I thought he was hurting the team but he's still one of my fav players ever.

Did I say I liked it? :sergio:

I said even Capello has nothing against Del Piero but praise for being a perfect role model and he even said he was shy/ashamed that he had to bench a player like Del Piero most of the times. Capello will always be a cunt. But this cunt praises our Captain more than armatures people here.

So what's your point? Coming here changing my view on Ale? Or saying how much you want Ale to be benched? Or how much he's harming the team? What's your point exactly? Stating false facts?

Yeah I know. I guess that makes two of us haters. :p

True, this topic should be "post only if you can yell forza Del Piero and not criticize anything, ever"

Yes, I am biased. I have a reason to be biased. The man has given all, has done a lot and has never disappointed me. I show faith in him when I'm biased because he has never given me enough reasons to be unbiased. I appreciate him and know his value. You don't. Simple as that.

People really, why do you still bother? it's not like either side will budge, everyone here has already made up his mind and most probably won't change it.

Live and let live.
