How can I forget that goal. It was the first time we play Inter after it was officially announced that we're going to play in Serie B.

Del Piero left them something to remember back then.

I just got home. Update me please. Did Ale play tonight? :D
He played against Inter and didn't play against Milan.
I watched Juve-Milan but I missed Juve-Inter so I can't update you. :D

From what those who watched the match say, we were too inferior against Inter and we didn't make a single chance, so I guess Del Piero too didn't shine.

So there is no chance we see Alex and Diego playing at the same time, yea?
At the start we obviously won't. If things start going really bad, maybe Del Neri will change to a 4-3-1-2 or 4-3-2-1 formation and those two can play together, but from what Del Neri said, I doubt it will happen. He said that he always plays with a SS and a tall striker or with two tall strikers, but not with two support strikers.

Thats too bad. But if Del Neri knows how to setup a team this way and the team would be more comfortable playing this why then I guess there is a price for everything.

A Diego - DP partnership upfront is wrong on so many levels and is certainly destined to fail.

Like Alen said, it would need a shift of tactics for the two to play together. That or Diego being transformed into a winger, which i imagine is too far fetched.

I hope not. However, as I stated in the Marotta thread, I'm not really confident in his decisions. Letting go of a solid player in Poulsen, and giving away Giovinco and Ekdal on co-ownerships while there is still a lot of garbage at the club hardly inspires confidence. Retaining Diego and acquiring Krasic might re-instill that waning confidence I have in him.

I actually don't trust the board either but they need to be too stupid to let the only good player they got go. Even if we get 20m for him, we can't bring players as good in the remaining days in the mercato.
