Red , what do you think about making that poll? :)
Sounds like a good idea to me.
Add Marchisio, Chiellini, Buffon, and Zebina ( :D)...or maybe we should wait until the transfer period ends so we could have a clear situation about who's staying.

If you open the thread and list the options, I'll make the poll.

He's still our capitano right? what's all the claudio talking? it's real?
On sky sports news it stated that Marchisio had been chosen to replace Del Piero as captain. I couldn't find any more news on it though.
:shifty: wtf?...a friend of mine called me yesterday just to give me this news...it can't be true because we're in the break and these decisions don't come in such moments.

Maybe they meant as a VICE captain. but even if thats true, what about Gigi. He is, as many have said, miles ahead of both marchisio and Chiellini put together.

Perhaps Del Piero isn't going to be a starter next year (and I honestly think he shouldn't) and that is why Sky has been speculating about who is likely to captain Juve next year.

In any case, with Del Piero on the pitch, the choice for Captain is obvious; with him on the bench, Buffon deserves it more than anyone else, with Chiellini just edging Marchisio for the Vice Captaincy.

I love your optimism, but I don't see it happening. We really need to move forward Rab, and if we want to be competitive again, both domestically and on the European stage, Alex needs to play a lesser role from now on.

no..we need to get ourself a decent team because il capitano can't save our ass or at least to be the only man who really wants to do something offensively.. Just like Diego, he needs some brains out there in the flanks and a spark in attack

Fact is, Juventus is still in a wound. This team still needs someone like Del Piero. Del Piero himself will decide to retire whenever Juventus is in good hands or on a good path.
