Del Piero needs movement around him so he can pull off all his trickery. In the absence of this, he is left to fend for himself, and he is too slow to beat his man or run into space.

It's painful watching him in this current team. He doesn't deserve this.

Diego needs movement around him.
Del Piero needs movement around him.
Trezeguet/Amauri needs movement around them.

Why the hell can't they all just start running?

Great sub...

Ale had a good game tonight. don't forget we didn't try to attack at all, the midfielders focused on defence. yet he tried as much as he could, got many fouls and he was involved in the goal.

and like i say every week: I HATE THIS SEASON

Good question.
Especially since with Marchisio and Candreva in the team, there is some movement.
So is the lack of movement the reason for Diego's, DP's, Trez's, Amauri's etc bad performances or is their lack of movement the reason for the team's lack of movement?

The last two to be blamed today are Amauri and Del Piero. In 7 minutes they managed to create a goal. Then the whole team collapsed. The midfield was standing at our box's line. How do you expect those to to create and play. Any player in the world cannot create if he will run the whole length of the field, let alone run it back to intercept the ball then run it back forward. This way Amauri and Del Piero's situation tonight. There was a HUGE gap between the midfield and the forwards. A gap that was caused by Zacchs tactics (the proof that he really wanted it is Del Piero/Grygera sub).
