Try to understand those Juve fans who aren't Azzurri fans.
We get absolutely nothing if Del Piero plays for Italy. We can even lose (less rest period, risk of getting injured etc).
Very selfish thinking. You get absolutely nothing if Del Piero plays for Italy while I myself get absolute enjoyment when I see him play.

Forgive me but I find the injury reason very childish thing to say. If that's the case then what's the point of having NT's?

Del Piero can get injured or not. Same thing goes with Buffon, Chiellini and all Juve players. If that's the case, then the same people who don't want Ale to play for the NT because he might get injured should be the same case with other Juve players.

It is actually.
And I must correct myself. I wasn't talking strictly about the WC. I was thinking more of those friendlies or even qualifiers. I remember that back in 2005/06 we had lots of injuries from the NT friendlies and qualifiers. Van Persie got such an injury during a friendly earlier this season.

I simply put Juve ahead of the NTs. Hell, I even put them ahead of my own NT.

I think we all put Juve ahead of NT's, not only you.

What's the point having NT's if you think Van Persie got a serious injusy in a friendly match? So what's the point? Ramsey got an even more serious injury in a league match.

You can play two full seasons and be injury free, you can injure yourself in training, hell you can even injure yourself without having any physical contact with any player. That's football you should know this.

This is like someone not letting his boy going out because he might injure himself or he might get himself into trouble. Football players are no Nostradamuses to know when they're going to get injured or not.

And back to Del Piero topic, in the last two tournaments he played he hasn't injured himself. You just never know and you can't live on predictions wondering if this is going to happen or that.

Why is it more selfish for Alen to want what he thinks is best for Juve than it is for you to want what you think is best for Del Piero?

Haven't you seen how the clubs moan whenever their players have to go play for the NT? How sometimes the players fake being injured just so they won't have to play some meaningless NT match?

Why do the clubs do that?

It is selfish thinking because Del Piero himself wants to play for the NT and Alen doesn't want(don't know if he doesn't want but I'm giving an example).

If you want the best for anyone you don't keep him/her against his wish.

Also, If Alen wants the best for Juve and doesn't want Juve players for the NT. Here's my question since he's always talking about figures and cash.

Wouldn't be good for Juve to have Marchisio or Giovinco play so their transfer market value increases and maybe in-case the club decided to sell them one day we can make a fortune out of them?

Playing for your NT automatically increases your value. That's a good thing for your club no?

You're generalizing here.

You got Patrons they want their youngsters playing for the NT it helps their financial situations and business commercials etc...

You got also players like Del Piero dreaming of playing his 4th World Cup. Players like Ronaldinho begging Dunga to take him to South Africa.

And I'm sure Patrons and Players do moans about some Friendly matches but not more. Just some.
