I'm just being realistic :)

He should play in the starting eleven, but not in every game.
Being realistic? Okay....

So you are saying we shouldn't play Del Piero unless we are playing big games? Even if he's fit he shouldn't play because he's a big game player?

Do you know that the championship isn't won when you only win big teams?
Do you know Del Piero has scored over 45 goals in the past two seasons?
Are you trying to say Del Piero should play like (12 matches all season, 4 big teams in the league and maybe some other 3 in Champions league)?
Are you really suggesting a fit Del Piero to sit on the bench and WAIIIIITT for big matches only?

Very realistic my friend. I agree.

You didn't get my point. I didn't say a fit Del Piero should sit on the bench.

Remember Nedved last year got used up in almost every game and was too fatigued at the end. I don't want the same story.

His age is an important issue for the team.

Rotation is good, and all players need a break sooner or later. If we could 4-2-2-2 test some game then it would be nice to see.

I don't think we'll see similar results with Del Piero playing in our team as Raúl playing for Real Madrid right now though.

I have to say I agree. But lets see if his age has truely gotten the better of him before we make any decisions on how much time we give him on the pitch. It will eventually, but last season he seemed fine to play 90 minutes on a regular basis.
