gila for del piero's place would be stupid...it's too early to talk about who will get dp's place...wait until 2012 (when jovetic will be at chelsea, gila will get a 8 months injury and never be the same player..etc..etc). Until then, shut up yo'all and enjoy our Capitano (i mean wait for the next weeks to enjoy him:p).

Question: what are we going to do without him when he retires? Seems to be everyone's savior but what happens when he retires?

Seems like the Mayan's 2012. Just keep going until the time comes then its.....over.
Management will certainly be in a tough spot when the time comes.

It would seem simple enough to plug in a world class player and hope for the best (assuming we're lucky enough to come across one in due course), yet it's so easily a hit or miss game. "Special" players like him, in respect to his longevity, impact and importance are often once in a generation for clubs, hence the legend status. It's funny when you think about it, how lucky we've been as fans to have had so many players of this caliber in the last 20 years alone.

when he retires there will be a huge void left in Juventus....not only on the field but in the hearts & minds of every Juve player & fan. I do not believe there has or will ever be a player who has or will ever contribute to Juve as much as our Captain......As can be seen in our recent matches, we really need him back....his magic shall once more inspire..

We move on.

Really don't have too much of a choice in the matter.

Yeah, its going to suck when he retires, but that's life.

Sorry to be so blunt, but this club has had a ridiculous amount of trophies before he was here, while he is here, and will get them after he's gone.

they always seem to find somebody else.
