I said rumors:pumpkin:
I'm denying everything. Whoever spreads these rumors should start writing for goal.com.

A great man once said: "There has been the greatest amount of intellectual manipulation here in juventuz. There was a concerted, organised effort to manipulate public opinion. It was fantastic work but it is unrelated to my world. I don't like intellectual prostitution".

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero is the most popular player in Italy, according to a survey by sticker manufacturer Panini.

Panini, who are renowned for their collectable stickers, conducted the poll last December as they launched their 2008-09 range.

The Modena-based company received more than 200,000 votes online or by phone.

Del Piero won the majority of those votes with 9,916 to his name, ahead of Juve teammate Gigi Buffon, Tuttosport reports.

Inter striking star Zlatan Ibrahimovic was third, Napoli hero Ezequiel Lavezzi came in fourth and Milan man Kaka was just fifth.

The most popular 11 were then made into an all-star team.

Panini's ideal 11: Buffon (Juventus); Maicon (Inter), Chiellini (Juventus), Gamberini (Fiorentina); Doni (Atalanta), Kaka (Milan), Hamsik (Napoli), Nedved (Juventus); Lavezzi (Napoli), Ibrahimovic (Inter), Del Piero (Juventus)

No surprise for Ale and Gigi but major achievements (yet a bit strange) for Ibrahimoivc and Lavezzi.
