What a legend! What a gentleman! What a sportsman! What a hero!
Numbers keep on rolling and his place in our hearts keeps on getting bigger. No words or deeds are enough to thank him for everything he has done for the club. One thing I have to say and I know it has been said many many times before but whatever

There is only ONE Del Piero.
I don't think there has ever been a player in history that has proved his critics wrong more than this man. If you're not a Del piero fan, you can't help but admire the extraordinary grit and determination he posseses. Above all that, he continues to be humble and selfless at all times. It's not the phenomenal skill or outstanding leadership he has, it's how he responds to it with such humility and profesionalism that amazes me the most. That's why for me and many Juventini, he will forever be our favourite player.
The way he has respnded to Donadoni's critisizm is astonishing. He calmly and consistently puts up sensational performances on the pitch making Donadoni look like a fool. He has done the same to so many people and in remarkable style as well.
A great season for Ale, perhaps one of his greatest. We all hope he can do the same in the Euros and erase the dreadful Euro 2000 memory for good.

Ranieri Hails Alex The Great
Claudio Ranieri was satisfied with his side's 3-3 draw with Sampdoria at Marassi on Saturday afternoon and he was full of praise for Alessandro Del Piero.
The Bianconeri threw away the lead twice in a spectacular game which closed the season for both these sides 24 hours before the rest of Serie A due to TV rights.
Alessandro Del Piero once again proved to be inspirational for his side as he led from the front and grabbed a brace. David Trezeguet also wrote his name on the scoresheet as did Antonio Cassano, Cristian Maggio and Vincenzo Montella for Sampdoria.
Ranieri was pleased with the result but he expected more from his side over the course of the season.
"This year we wanted to win everything but we were not able to," Ranieri told La Repubblica.
"However, we will try again next year and hope that we can go far in the Champions League too.
"I am pleased with the result today. Alex (Del Piero) was a real gentleman by allowing David (Trezeguet) to take the first penalty."
Ranieri also explained his decision to replace Del Piero with Momo Sissoko after Sampdoria began clawing their way back into the fray.
"We were suffering a little and I made a logical decision by introducing an extra midfielder into the game.
"It was really nice that the whole stadium stood up to applaud Del Piero as he came off.
"If he(Del Piero) gets called up to the National squad then I will be really happy for him but lets leave Donadoni to make his own decisions."
Juventus have, at times, blown hot and cold over the course of the season and consistency seems to be the biggest problem. The Old Lady have plenty of time to work on that element of their game and they will be looking to be a little more competitive next term.
