Alex is among the 10 candidates for the 2007 edition of GOLDEN FOOT, international award for players over 29 and organized by World Champions Club of Montecarlo. !!! 
The award will be given the 3rd September in Montecarlo. The winner will leave his foot print on the Promenade the Champions at Monte Carlo.
The other nine players in nominee are David Beckham, Fabio Cannavaro, Roberto Carlos, Luis Figo, Ryan Giggs, Thierry Henry, Paolo Maldini, Raul Gonzales Blanco.
In the 2004 it has been awarded by Pavel Nedved.
