u have just proved a point i was telling a friend of mine in here for a while, its because he benched Alex.Sometimes he was wrong, and other times he was right.And since he won two titles, he was right more times than wrong.
The record books can have wat they have but everyone will always remember who won the titles on the field.
The guy had his flaws just like every coach there is out there, but like him or not he is a winner(even if it was the hard way)
Records were broken one after the other. But everybody forgets that and i guess those dont count anyway.
Also about Zlatan, mybe he brought him here, but who knew he would turn out to be the way he is. And again everyone forgets that he had a great first season.

I disagree, winning 2 scudetti has nothing to do with Capello being right in benching DP. Lets take a look at statistics for an example, When Ibra was performing like a king (first season) he scored 16 goals, Alex got injured was subbed like crazy and scored 17. Alex played the whole of last season as a bench player he scored 20 goals how many did Ibra score? Ok lets leave scoring aside. Lets take a look at championships,
First season although everyone must admit that Ibra was playing very good but what gave Juve the notch over all the teams in the last 1/3 of the season is Alex's recovery after the injury.
Lets take a look at last season. Del Piero was the starter in the Coppa Italia and Juve were doing wonders. We reached the Roma game which was an important one Capello comes out saying no no no I have to feature my ibra. First game were lucky we had Del Piero to come off the bench and scores twice. Second game he features ibro and he gets a red and we get knocked out of the Coppa. Champions league Although we didn't have a brilliant run but we were ok (THANKS TO ALEX not to ibra) He was a bench player who made the difference whether by goals or by assists or be chaning playing methods from impotent long balls to easy on the ground passes. When DP did not play the Arsenal game we lost. We were ineffective offensively. We lost because Capello fielded Alex as a starter when he was not ready so he rest other players for the Arsenal match..
So yes, with Capello we won two scudetti. but no Capello was not right most of the times when he benched or subbed Del Piero. DD subbed Del Piero few times, why didn't anyone complain, why didn't DP complain?? Its because he subbed him when he started to become ineffective on the field (for any reason whether decrease in performance or exhaustion).
I hate it when Players say that Capello won us two scudetti, its not like we didn't win 2 out of 3 possible in the past 3 years before his arival. Its not like players like Gigi, Cannavaro, Del Piero and Nedved were performing like a dream. It took a team effort to win those two titles, not only Capello. Who knows if Capello wasn't ignorant enough we might have won a CL or a coppa italia atleast.

Capello did a good job at Juve but the manner in which he conducted himself plus his past as milan/roma coach would never have endeared him to the Juve supporters...plus his arrogant attitude and pathetic treatment of Ale was also very disappointing...He is a coach who is a league "specialist" he is not tactically shrewd enough to have success in Europe
But seriously what I really don't get is Juventini not liking Del Piero, or even worse insulting him. One would understand non juventini hating Del Piero since they have more than 200 reasons for them to hate him 
(and counting).
But juventini, what do you want more??
Someone to represent the club at best in ocassions out side the field, I don't think you can find a better person.
Someone who is a leader and idol for yongster to look up to
The Captain of your team, the team you supposingly support.
Has given all to the club for more than 13 years.
Your club top scorer of all time and he is still scoring.
Although he is 32 but he is still performing great even better than most youngster and literally is saving the club in many games with his brilliance.
A leader on the pitch. Gives moral support to all players.
Led your team to ALOT of victories in the past and still is leading the team to victories today.
Did not abandon the team when it got relegated. First one to come out saying I will stay with the club.
Took the crap from Capello and kept quiet to keep the squad united and save Juventus' pride.
All players look upto him whether young or experienced.
Has never let the team down.
Always respects the fans (yes that is you).
Seriously talented and is not a show off like ibra, uses the talent when needed.
Best free kick taker (in my opinion and in yours he can't be less than one of the best FK taker)
Best PK taker (my opinion and same as the above)
One of the best assitant striker in the world if not the best.
One of the best finishers in the world..
He keeps on scoring no matter what the team he is facing.
Not selfish.
Never speaks about himself. Always speaks about his team-mates and their effort.
He is so spirited and gives spirit to others. He can take the team from the lowest morals possible to the highest and we've seen it in many games, either by encouraging them or by just showing them a glipse of his brilliance.
And the list goes on..
So what do you want more to give him the respect he deseve let alone love him??

denying capello any credit for winning not one but two scudettos is just plain unfair.Mybe he did rely on personal skills by the players to win games or personal brilliance.
But this team was defensively like a rock, teams were dying before they could score against us. The team was like a well oiled machine.
It was Capello who organised the team from the backline and made it almost invincible and almost impossible to break down.
I didnt say that the guy didnt make mistakes, he made quite a few and he was just a plain son of a bitch when dealing with his players and especially alex.
But saying things like anyone would've won the scudetto with this team is just plain ignorant as the Inter example just shows that its not that e

How could you know if it was Cannavaro who made the backline like a well oiled machine or Capello? Because I honestly couldn't see what Capello had to do with this. We only should thank him for always putting his faith in Cannavaro, if that's make any differences.
I couldn't find any post saying that anyone would have won the scudetto with this team. What I read is if DD managed this team, we would've won the scudetto as well.

Capello asked for cannavaro to be brought here to strengthen the defence, same with Emerson.That backline was sourounded by an iron shield to protect it with the whole team applying pressure all over the field.
anyway for ppl who think i hate Alex just because am giving capello some credit then they r wrong. I just feel its unfair for to not give some credit where its due.

He simply doesn't have that quality. As far as "strategy and approach with the players" are concerned, which IMHO are significant factors to what make a great coach.
Don't get me wrong, I know that you are just trying to give credits to the man, but as I see it, that's just too much.
