Senza Calciopoli, Del Piero poteva andarsene?
Without Calciopoli could have Del Piero left?
Yes, absolutely, I always lived calcio with passion, love, enthusiasm. When Iahve these things and people who had faith in me, the thought of leaving never crossed my mind. The last 2 years have been difficult for me. But from the first contacts with the new board I realized I could play again football as I love it.
Could you believe that we almost lost Alex because of Capello? Damn, am I glad he left us, well even more so now.

I was going to post it too :D

Prodi + 7 ministers are going to China to sponsorize made in Italy over there. The trip is scheduled for Sept 12th to Sept 19th. Emma Bonino, minister for the international trade, the woman that has organized the torunée, would want to take Ale with them, as a symbol of success, resistence, lastingness, a perfect image for Italy and its products.

Go figure, now they want our Ale to promote themselves. Wasn't he the captain of this thieves-team? Of the team that that bitch of a minister of sport has done her best to epurate? Wasn't he?
Now they've changed idea, how nice. I guess we are thieves only when it's convenient for them. :(
Why don't they take some honest inter player with them? Oh, wait, that's right, there is no Italian over there. It's not like they can take Recoba with his fake passport, can they? There is Materazzi! Oh, wait, then you'll have to explain about Zidane, the players he has injuried and such.
Take Mancini with his lifting and his stolen scudetto, I'm sure you'll export a message that the Chinese people will never forget!

(Ps: I added some new traslated paragraphs to the interview  )

Unbelievable.

Ok, this is important people. The image of Del Piero from the wikipedia article was deleted because of copyright issues.

Does anyone know of a Del Piero picture which is not copyright ? That means either :

One that is for free-use according to laws
One that was made for public use, or coypright holder allowed it from a paper etc.
One that you took yourself and you allow it...

you know, del piero doesnt look like he's over 30 imo.he still looks like he's 26 or something.the same goes for nedved.some players tend to look younger than they actually are and its the opposite for some other players.like, who'd believe that cambiasso is 25?he looks like he's 35 or something.
