No, I don't agree at all. If you're saying long range stunners are a fluke then the same could be applied to any goal couldn't it. Ooh, he just stuck his leg out, caught it right and it went in, you could say. And he isn't the only player to have done it either, so it really isn't that special. A good goal yes, very good in fact but it hardly set the world alight in the way the two I mentioned and countless others have.

That goes for your long range efforts as well. A goal can only be called legendary because of the moment when he was scored. After the Anglo-Argentina war it was obvious that Maradona's goal had an enormous impact. Del Piero scored a stunner but after all did so in a competition game against Torino. That's the only thing that truly seperates goals IMO.

Not been in any of those threads to be honest. I don't know who you are or what your problem is but I'll answer you anyway. I'm on a Juve forum because I'm a fan of the team, and have been for well over 10 years now. Which ain't bad for a 21 year old. I've been an active member on here for a fair few years now during which time I've posted on football matters and off topic. I even helped moderate it for a while.

Now what my problem is are people like Giovanotti and Azzurri7 who, for want of a better phrase, are just absolute cunts. They have no support for the team, spend the entire season bitching and whining about why delpiero isn't playing. Then finally we get a break with the world cup, only for them to be moaning again because he ain't playing for Italy. Newsflash people, he's past it. Great player that he once was, get over it and get a fucking life! I mean jesus how old are you people to be worshipping a player to such extent, its frankly disturbing.

Fair enough. I have been more or less a casual reader of these forums for some time and not an active poster until recently so I don't really remember you writing something in-depth about Juventus. I thought you could be one of these people who don't support Juve but who still hang out here god knows doing what and getting all the privileges possible. The inner social democrat in me doesn't like that.

Therefore I was put off with you cursing to everyone. Anyway, I understand your point of view about DP fans even though I think you're overreacting, most of the writers in this topic actually understand Lippi's decisions. I have no quarrel with you either since you showed intellect in your answer but hopefully you could do without unnecessary provocations.

@ Tom...funny discussion IMO.that goal against Torino was one of the best EVER and it's not because he's my favorite player.this is Del Piero's thread so you for sure will find many biased comments,but in this case,I think your comments are even more biased.that goal was one of the best with no doubt.
