If I see DP-Inzaghi play together again I'll shoot myself. I would like to see foggia, quag's and aquilani all start. I'm still wondering why donadoni didn't call up rosina or miccoli.....
:agree: I am still wondering why Donadoni is given so much chance, IMO, he is showing he isn't capable of coaching the NT, after what Lippi did, the team so far didn't come close to their performances on the WC.

DP as support striker, playing him as winger is rediculous.

capitano didnt play well on saturday but to his defence sticking him to the left wing in a 4-1-4-1 system isnt the best
he should have played next to pippo in a 4-4-2 system
its proven since their juve days that they can combine well together and they should ve been given that chance
stupid donadoni
and whats with camo-perrota sub?? camo was havin a bad game but a central mid for a right winger when we needed to spread the play??

Sad to see such a terrible del piero play v france. So he played wide and tryed to drift forward he looked so unfit it was not funny. i remember Ranieri saying his worried about Del Piero's fitness comming into the France match now i know why, yet del piero rubbished them away saying his fit. He didnt even have a sprint in him. He looked weak through out and made one positive move the whole match the one two with Camro, than falling to the floor with the shot. It looked out of his depth the match it may be his age or maybe he aint fit. I dont know, I am a fan of Dp always will be but when you put yourself in a sitituation like he did stating his ready for italy and Juve, you must deliver something, he didnt at all. Maybe it was just one of those days or he shit himself before the match wasting his energy on worrying how big of a match it was. He should have done better and not blame the French menatility maybe blame his own.

Its really interesting that the only nice offensive play italy managed during the France game was when Camoranesi and Del Piero connected with each other. It was for a cuople of minutes in the first half. Camo started to take an attacking midfielder role (in the centre) and Del Piero moved upfront. They caused one serious chance then SOMEONE pulled them off to their "regular positions"

If they offer me to switch clubs, means they don't want Ale, so If I don't accept this one others will, and nothing is better than replacing a legend himself with someone like Rab:p

guys, i saw dp against france, was rele disapointed, do u think he still has wot it takes at this level?
You guys are looking at it in a very wrong way.
Del Piero played a defensive game.. It was clear as glass the Donadoni asked him to play LM with defensive roles. He was manytimes found near Italys corner flag. So he was really playing out of position.

Personally what I saw was a guy who is determined to play.. I saw good fitness. Del Piero ran ALOT during the france game. ALOT. From flag to flag longitudenally..
His passing was good. BUT the whole team was terrible. If you think del piero was delaying the ball well you are wrong. non of his team mates were openning space for him to pass. And it goes to everyone. Thats why no play making was acheived. When camoranesi started moving and del piero pushed forward (obviously against donadonis wishes) they produced a nice play.

So no need to worry.. In fact, I see a reason to be optimistic.
