Did the club intend for it to be a reunion of sorts with Del Piero, or is it just a tour in Australia that DP will coincidentally be involved in?

If it's the former then the relationship between management and Ale aren't as strained as we believed, and maybe a return to the club in whatever role could happen sooner than later.

So you're saying Ale's die hard fans were full of bullshit when they said the club's and Ale's relationship is ruined?

It's got nothing to do to the relations between Ale and the club. The FFA will pay Juve 4 million for their paticipation in the match; On the other hand, they're expected to pay Ale around 70K to captain the all-stars. The FFA organized the whole thing and there were no negotiations between Ale and Juve or something like that. The fact that he'd like to play against his friends and former team-mates doesn't mean he's not upset with the management.

Ale was fantastic today. Besides the goal and the assist, he did some great moves and could finish with 2-3 more assists if only Abbas and Despotovic would be more concetrated.

I loved the commentator remark right before the penalty. The GK got out of his goal to say something to Ale, and the commentator said:"The GK tries to put pressure on Del Piero...good luck with that". :D

"The Sydney skipper once again proved he is a class act by spending at least 15 minutes after full-time on the the field signing autographs. He even came out of the dressing sheds to an elderly man of Italian descent in a wheelchair. The moment brought the life-time fan to tears and delighted his family, who were all decked in Del Piero shirts".

Man we had such a great strike force. We are playing better now but I gotta say watching that partnership without winning at the end of the season is more entertaining than our post-partnership years despite how much better the team as a whole is right now.

Nedved, Del Piero and Trezguet. God I miss them.
