Del Piero is running more than the pussies like Aquilani, Grosso, Barzagli. Apparently, a goal and an assist are not enough, he should score like 5 and assist 8 to secure a win. Like Ahmed wrote me a while ago on BB before taking a freekick, C'mon Ale, you're the only non-retarded player on the field, do it.
His problem is his friends, that don't give him the ball like he likes it. I wrote in HT: Give him the ball 30-35M from Chievo's goal, when he has some space and with his face to the goal and we'll score again. When they did it, Matri got that pass and scored. The problem his that most of the balls he gets are 50M away from goal, with his back to the goal and defender right behind him. When he asked for the ball in good situations for him, they prefer giving it to Krasic, Motta, Pepe, Grosso. With little, little, little!!! help, he would have scored 3 and assist 3.

I fucking hate this. JUST GIVE HIM THE FUCKIN' BALL!!! I think sometimes people don't understand how genius Ale is, how he creates things out of nowhere.
Ale is a forward. In normal teams, forwards get scoring chances. Ale doesn't, cause he's playing with clowns. He's one of the best finishers on earth, but he gets no chances to finish. When was the last time he was in 1 on 1 situation? When was the last time he got a through pass, deep into the area, and found himself in good scoring position infront of the goal? I don't remember.
Because he doesn't get those balls, he has to go back and get balls 30-40-50M away from goal. But sometimes, like today, they don't even pass him then. Today we played like it's a crime to pass to someone in the middle. There were situation I was so angry, he was alone in the middle, 30-35M away from goal, begging for the goal, with no defender around him. But we played like our mission is to play only in the flanks, get somehow close to the corner flag or something, and then cross, just cross, no matter what. And sometimes he was alone even in the flank, but then they passed to the other side, like they don't want to give him the ball. It was amazing. And still, he scored and gave Matri that wonderful assist.
We can just Imagine what he could do with players and no clowns around him.

It's amazing that he had to fight to get the contract extension. In a normal world Marotta would begging him to stay...We give contracts easily for so many medicore players, so how come it was so hard for Marotta and co to sign our best player? It's not only about Bandiera and all that, it's just that he's OUR BEST PLAYER ffs. Teams like Man Utd know to appreciate, we don't. What's more beautiful than an eternal captain who's also your best player? You have all the reasons in the world to give him a contract.
FFS, sign him on a contract without expiring date. Just write:"When you feel that it's over for you, tell us".
