Ibrahimovic Respects Del Piero
9/20/2005 7:34:00 AM
The Juventus forward paid tribute to his captain during an award ceremony.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the best foreign player of the year in Serie A at an award ceremony, Eurochampion, held in Udine, during which he was asked to comment about team mate and captain Alessandro Del Piero.

“He’s a great professional, a great captain and a great player. He will be very important for our season.”

Ibrahimovic believes it is too early to place Juventus as the favourites for the Scudetto, despite winning the first three matches of the season.

“It’s really too early. However we are a great team and want to continue this way.”

After winning the Serie A best foreign player of the year, the Swedish forward’s next objective is the Golden Ball. However he reckons that it will not be this year.

“I see two or three other players for that award,” concluded the former Ajax player

Saying you wished Dp didn't score is Like you wish Juve didn't grab the 3points against Ascoli.

Have a good day.

I thought his main aim was to win the Golden Ball.....

However, Nice words from Zlatan towards Il Capitano....

Wrong!
I only wished someone else had scored them.

Ps. I know you´d understand that and just tried to start an argument. DS.

This shows how much you love the team....
This is my last reply in this vendetta…

I do love the team.
Since I was five years old.

And the only reason I put that post in was because as the situation is today Juve this might cause a problem between the players and the fans and management if they still put DP on the bench, and I believe they will.

If it was up to me I would love to see DP on the pitch every game!
Especially as a trequartista.

The end.

*sits down quietly and sings kumbajaja with you all*

Fair enough...The only thing you should Fear (Fans)...Other than that I don't see a good reason why he should be benched....Problems with Players?? I doubt Del Piero himself creating problems in the Squad....With the management??Nah, you're going a bit far...
