decent game from capitano, had a big chance in the 1st half, the half in which he showed like he was really in the mood for the game...he triple backheel passed to amauri in the 2nd half but nothing came out..

had that one good FK and offside goal... but as for the rest I thought he held on to the ball for far too long and ends up losing them (but again as others mentioned passing to Amauri probably wouldn't make a difference) and took some uncharacteristically really bad set pieces today... but still the whole team was bad today and he was the one with the bad chances even on a really bad day.. that ought to tell you how much juve sucked last night.

Juve rule out Del Piero exit

Juventus have laughed off speculation that Alessandro Del Piero could end his career with rivals Milan.

Rossoneri owner Silvio Berlusconi this week invited the Italian legend to join the San Siro outfit before he retired.

“Del Piero to Milan? I don’t think so,” explained Bianconeri transfer guru Beppe Marotta.

“The fact that Berlusconi rates him so much is a testament to the player, but Del Piero won’t play in a Milan shirt.”

The almost 36-year-old has less than a year left on his current deal and he recently admitted that he would remain in Turin or move abroad.

“His [agent] brother has said that Alex is and will be a Juventus player,” Marotta continued. “There will soon be a meeting around a table with President Andrea Agnelli.

“The new stadium will be ready next season and if Del Piero hopes to play there then there will be no problems.”

THE WORLD OF FOOTBALL TAKES THE PITCH TOGETHER WITH AIRC TO SUPPORT THE YOUNG RESEARCHERS ON CANCER

On Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th of November all Serie A TIM and Serie Bwin teams will take the pitch to support the initiative A Goal for the Research, promoted by AIRC in collaboration with Lega Serie A, TIM, Lega Serie B and for the first time, with the support of Italian Referees Association.

The target is to involve all the supporters, using the messages carried by the sport personages, to support the research on cancer: and especially the studies and training of young and promising Italian researchers.

Alessandro Del Piero, Alberto Gilardino and Javier Zanetti - representing the world of football – will be the protagonists of this initiative: three champions, who have chosen to sustain AIRC and show an extraodinary engagement in organization activity.

To support the team of AIRC researchers is quite simple!

Send one or more SMS at cost of 2 euros to 45508 - for TIM, Vodafone, Wind, 3 customers or just call the same 45508 number to donate 5 or 10 euro, using Telecom Italia, Fastweb e Infostrada landline telephone.
