Seriously once Del Piero retires I will need too follow another team on the side just to remember what brilliance is because his little moments of light catch me thinking stupid thoughts like,,,well Iaquinta didn't play that bad or Quag was pretty good there is no reason yo hate on them. I like alot of our players butt I think its dangerous getting rid of all are players and bringing in new ones to the point where we forget how glorious we used to be. Comments like any other day we would have won but yet it happens 15 times every fucking year now. Good team do what Palermo did today(not saying they are great) they win without neccesarily deserving it. Bad players dont score as often in positions and thats why there record is low.
Anyway I hope he keeps hitting 30 yard rockets and reminding me what brilliance looks like so I never accept a washed up half-ass Juve like we have been getting used to.

I think Melo was.

Still, he played very good. I was surprised to see him being subbed but I don't know...if he played the whole match I bet some would say "Why did he play the whole match". This way he was reseted for the next one, so it's not really a bad thing. You can't expect a 36yo to play every match 90' and not even to mention how we'll need Alex against Inter and City.

I think Del Neri got his subs wrong somehow. Not because he took out Ale, but because he rushed things.

I would have kept him and played one of Amauri or Iaquinta alongside him. Then if things don't go well, replace him with another striker. But introducing both Iaquinta and Amauri at HT was a bad decision IMO.

Subbing in Iaquinta is usually always a mistake but it's twice as bad if you sub him in to play as a winger. Didn't Del Neri learn anything from the World Cup or our clueless coaches last season

I don't think it was wrong...Quag was being slapped around like a bitch, and we need a goal, so someone had to go, therefore Pepe was removed.

it's not as if we had any other options.

Agree, we need him fresh, but play Amauri-Iaq togheter instead one of them alongside creative player was wrong. We needed DP\Quag (Ale was way better, but he's much tired) with Amauri\Iaq. Amauri and Iaqunita infront is a really bad idea.

I think he has much more to offer against the teams like Palermo and Cagliari rather than those of Inter style who don't give him much space. He can turn the game in big matches too by one moment of magic, that's for sure but I'd rather have him play against the likes of Palermo even if it means having him at risk against Inter. We will get a CL place by beating those mid table teams.

on the contrary Hoori, the 'small' teams are the ones that suffocate him, especially when they come to the Olimpico.

it's the big teams who look to attack themselves, then Ale can also rape them.

i don't understand ale's sub. we were only 1 goal down and he looked like the only one who could have scored or set up a goal. the offence was going thru him. u saw the look in his eyes when he saw his number held up......del neri got it wrong.....del piero was our hope in this match and it disappeared when he was subbed

I don't know Ahmed, the space he got to made that sick long range shot against Lech won't be given to him against Inter or City. His set pieces could still be decisive so he would most probably be more useful than the other three we have up front but I wouldn't rest him against small/mid-table teams only to have him fresh when we play away to the likes of Inter which we are very likely to lose anyways with or without Ale :p
