Hehe, its amusing how personal you are taking and reacting to it. I'm simply just basically asking what exactly from that made you think it was not him.

Hehe, bit amusing for sure.
And if you ask him genuinely why he thinks that way, he takes it as if we are criticizing him for not forzaing Del Piero :D

Do you see how people react and I take it personally. I just dropped it before people start trolling and saying how I'm clueless and how I don't appreciate him, which has happened a couple of times already. You know, this thread is good if you have good thing to say. Not any criticism is taken seriously and people start to mock you if you say that because whatever said against him will be considered "anti Del Piero" and his so called "hater". When he retires, same people will think I'm happy about it. I'll avoid those comments from now on for sure. I don't really want people to make something of me, make somebody that's not me just to point finger and laugh.

Wtf man, are you sure this is not about something else?

I have been a big fan since I was 10 years old basically, but seriously man, I like to think I'm as objective as possible regarding him despite the huge sentiment I have for him, and I never said anything remotely like the above to you, or even the biggiest Del Piero hater around unless they are being totally insanely unreasonable (and I'm very used to Del Piero haters, there is a certain Toni in XT for example :p), I just usually accept whatever they think and leave it be if they cant be reasoned with (hence why I havent replied a single time to this Vcb clown).

Just simply something I have had to get accostumed to as a fan, constant criticism of him almost yearly since his sad injury (outside this forum ofcourse, even if half of the criticism is mainly Juve fans). So whatever you would say, I'm pretty sure I can leave with it.

So now that we have gotten this placating BS out of the way :D unless you disagree, what I simply asked is what made you think what you said. Nothing else. Your quite weirdly emotional reaction to it not withstanding, you really havent explained that.

It's not a nuclear science. I just don't believe that players are writing that stuff. If anything, I believe that they do update twitter from time to time personally. It's just that what he writes is a real quality and I cannot see any player being able to come up with that high quality writing. I don't know why, maybe it's because I met quite a few of them and I think 95% of footballers are not even educated properly. At the age of 10 most of them "drop" the school and start to train twice a day. No, it doesn't mean he can't study even while playing but I just can't see it. Not him, any football player. I'm not saying he's stupid, but there's a huge difference IMO between writing that and what he says on those interviews. Nobody is denying that he's a very bright person but IMO it takes a lot more write that stuff. I don't see him, or anyone else, owning his site and actually sitting behind his PC doing that.

If he did write that, then he can write books. I've been reading a lot of things on the Internet but not many journalists are able to pull that.

Well, the problem is then that you generalize players too much. Many of them are as you describe, but the problem is when you assume all of them are.

And not sure how some well chosen nice sentiments are pulitzter prize worthy writing either.

Caro David,

Quante formazioni in questi anni finivano così: Del Piero e Trezeguet, Trezeguet e Del Piero.

I suppose we'll cancel Ale's deal with a year to go too:groan:
That'd be awesome actually, as long as we get an appropriate replacement, none of this Diego swapped with Quag bullshit. It's never going to happen though, with the amount of people who'd love to get assfucked by DP. He's going to play no matter how much damage he does to the team until he retires in 2 or 3 years.

I already commented on that goal. It was fantastic no doubt, it's nice to see but I don't think he'll have that sort of consistency or space in regular Serie A games, not to mention his several problems he had physically last year such as reduced pace, getting wrestled off the ball so much and null counter attacks.

He IS old so what are we going to when he's not playing due to injury or playing like shit due to being tired? I'm willing to bet we're going to be placing Quag alongside him this year, so a forward line of Martinez Quag is not exactly mouth watering.

Well sorry for saying something that's not "forza Del Piero" for once and saying something different for a change.

Oh and I did, twice this morning FYI.
It's just that since days the only thing you do is kind of trolling here. Come and say we should start a party because Diego is gone, now make other crazy suggestions. Feel free to say your opinion thats totally ok but it's just that to me you are not your usual self right now.

Wasn't that what some people were hoping for? A lot of you guys are more ADP fans than Juve fans.
