"Lucio was asked 'who are the attackers that have annoyed him most in his first year in Italy’ he answered: “[Alexandre] Pato, and [Alessandro] Del Piero. Fast, unpredictable strikers, that make you concerned".

I guess he still remember this:
BTW, Delneri said that in the Trofeo Berlusconi match he'll play some players that don't get much play time, but when asked if Ale will start he said:"Maybe Trezeguet". It's fucking friendly, let DP start you idiot. You can start Diego on Thursday and Sunday (Europa League and Serie A), let Il Capitano play a little. If you give him 15 mintues every match he won't be able to carry for 60, 70, 80 mintues when you'll need him.

I don't like this coach...

EDIT: And the Italian press talks about Ale as the new Jose Altafini, Italian-Brazilian who played for Juve in the early 70's and was decisive despite coming off the bench. He retired in 1980, when he was 42 years old.

Well, we know what can Del Piero give to the team while Diego needs to get used to this new position, so maybe it's better if he gets as much playing time as possible before the tough matches come.

Yeah, but he gets 70 mintues at least in every match, and Ale gets 10-20. Plus, we have 3 matches in one week-Milan, Graz and Bari. If he'll start in all of them, it will be really stupid. Ale looks good and he should start in one of these matches, and because i don't believe he'll start vs Bari or Graz, i really don't like this comment of Delneri.

Serie A hasn't started yet and ADP will get a ton of opportunities to play. I agree with Alen Diego has to learn to be second punta this season and Del Neri is doing everything to make him confident and comfortable. Their will be Europa (hopefully don't wanna jinx anything) and Coppa Italia I'm sure the team will need to play both. Personally I love the fact Juve has a guy like Diego who rarely has gotten hurt in the past and a legend to teach him.

One thing our old man should know, If Diego doesn't like his current position which is SS then Del Neri shouldn't force him to play there because no player can give 100% in a position he doesn't like. And as far as I know Del Neri was ready to sell him because he didn't like the idea of his new role.

It was all media BS, Diego said he can play even on the wing IIRC. Del Neri said he's great behind someone like a shadow, which is his current role.

Why wouldn't a creative player like Diego not want to play Second Punta. I agree it has to be Media BS

If he puts him on the bench even if he deservs to play, then yes, i would have hate any coach.

But i want to declare-This is not the situation right now. I don't hate Delneri. So far, i just don't like some of his desicions. that's all.

I don't like the fact that he doesn't even consider to play with DP and Diego togheter, for example.

And yes, I think Ale looks good so far in the pre-season, while Diego is also good but not as brilliant as some of the guys here say. I don't want Delneri to start him every match, but when we have 3 match in a week he deservs to start one of them. I got a feeling that he has some personal issues with Ale ,and Tuttosport also wrote about that. But again, i don't hate him, just don't like some of his the desicions.

*And another thing i don't like so far- every time Ale plays it's after Gigi took Marchisio out and put Melo instead. and then DP has to play with Melo-Momo, that give him no support, and it's harder for us to create. and then people here say 'see, he took Diego out and we suck', and it's not like that at all.
