My god how many times that question has been asked:sergio:
My god how silly they sound asking this question :sergio:

When someone puts in this question I think he's either trying to show how a bigger fan he is than the others which makes him even more silly or looking for some provocation.

I say stop being limited and a square head, you can have an idol and support the team you for the rest of our lift.
Sum it up perfectly.

He has had an awful season, is in wretched form, and has played for the most dissappointing team in Serie A this season. he is old, slow, weak and spiritually down. His presence in the squad would take up a spot for a far more useful player.

All of the above explains, how he will make the azzurri squad worse.

he simply does not have anything to raise even the morale of the squad, or technical quality/potency.
geez man...awful season? 8 goals...juve had an awful season not del piero.

I disagree. It's all Del Piero's fault. Del Piero should carry the entire Juve squad on his shoulder not shoulders, just one shoulder because with the other shoulder he can carry the entire staff and management too..

I also hold him fully responsibility for not convincing the coach to play Poulsen in our most important matches this season and how he didn't manage to influence the management that Grosso and Grygera are not good enough.

I tell you, it's his goddamn fault:agree:

What is it that you don't understand? Surely he didn't have/had an okay season but not a single player in Juventus this season was above average. The entire team sucked. Get over it and specially over Del Piero.

Yes I understand and I said that you have to be of a poor oppinion about him if oyu consider this an ok season for his standards.

You can't say that the team was poor so because of this he should be relieved of the criticism of his performence (that goes to all ofthe players not only DP)

On the other hand it seems that to some of you it realy wouldn't matter if he would have a disasterous season, because in their eyes DP would still have had an ok season, hence the delusion, clauded judgment or conflict of interest, call whatever you want it.

Not true. You just have no idea how bad I feel and how awful it feels when he doesn't play well and specially now that the World Cup is closer than ever.

You don't know how sad I am when he doesn't play well. Your judgments makes no sense.

I wans't talking about you in particular, but there are some regulars who imo think this way and from time to time someone random guy pops into the thread to support my view.

Maybe you will not believe me, but Del Piero is my all time favorite player and it pains me to see him this season, sluggish, slow and unresponsive at times. It brings me joy when he rolls back the years, but sadly that doesn't happen to often these days(teams form doesn't help ether).

I wish him all the best and I love when he starts and plays well, but a lot of people base their decisions about Del Piero with emotional attachment to him rather then reason/logic.

Lippi: "The key is to create a group of players with a high technical level but also the right psychology.

"Everyone has to be ready to put himself at the service of the others, that's the only way to get results.

"Of course you also need technical quality, players like (Gianluigi) Buffon, (Fabio) Cannavaro, (Francesco) Totti and (Alessandro) Del Piero".

a hint?

I hope so. I'm still optimistic to see him in the Azzurri squad.
