Sure but I don't care about it when I remember how Ale missed on a starting spot in Donadoni team while he deserved to start every game before everyone in Italy. He was the top scorer of the league but he couldn't find a place in the starting eleven. Now suddenly everyone is concerned about those who deserve to go to the world cup. Lippi, whether you like it or not, has ruled out Cassano and Miccoli since a long while ago and among those who might have a place in his plans, Del Piero deserves to be called up.

Not on his form this season he does not, Italy needs to move on and stop looking to players who are not as effective as they used to be.

Thats why Italy will fall flat this World Cup because their best players will be sitting at home or on their holidays. Lippi is a fool.

Fool or not, he doesn't believe in Cassano and Miccoli (thankfully) so I have a feeling that there is a place for Ale in the team (hopefully).
Miccoli will be one of the reason why Palermo are in contention for fourth. He's had an amazing season and definatly deserves to go ahead of any other Italian Striker.

Like you said, it will not happen so it's pointless discussing it.

I don't care about the Azzurri as long as Alex is not playing there ;)
Weren't you asking me once how can I not support a team with so many Juve players in it?

Now you too won't care about a team that has Buffon, Chiellini, Iaquinta, Camoranesi, Marchisio, Cannavaro etc?

I knew it all along :howler:

I didn't talk about "support". I asked you how can't you like a team with so many Juve players in. So I'd love to see Juve players doing well in the Azzurri but I will support them only when Alex is there :D

Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero has rejected talk of a move to the New York Red Bulls by saying that he only goes to America on holiday.

Earlier this week, La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that Del Piero was discussing an offer to join the Red Bulls with his family.

Adidas, the 35-year-old's principal sponsors, were also said to be pushing the deal forward in a move that would be incredibly lucrative for Del Piero.

Writing on his official Facebook page, Del Piero said: “Dear friends, in response to the many questions that you have asked me in recent days… I say 'yes' it's true.

“I am going to America this summer… on holiday. But then I will return, for sure,” he concluded.

Del Piero is a legend at Juventus, having first joined the club in 1993.

And the legend continues in Black and White :touched:
