you juventus FAN or juventus GAY?
i like dp just as i like zlatan but i cant understaind why dp is always the black sheep.
i dont say that we all have to critisize zlatan now, but we dont have to critisize dp neither...
we won the scudetto does it matter how?
we got a 7 point scudetto lead and you still complaining about everything...
i also dont say dp was our best player this season, but i missed the thing called ''praise'' when he played so well in 02/03
its allways about critisize thats a shame for a club as juve...
all the players are the same so why always critisize ONE
It is not like that, I will explain what goes inside your heads. When any other player is criticized, you cheer for the criticizm but when Del Piero is criticized you feel offended.

Since you like to seperate facts from opinions, you should have pointed out that this was your own observation and opinion.
I never stated it like a fact. And that's good enough for me, I'm not going to specify whether or not everything I say is fact or opinion just for your liking. If you want a clarification, just ask for it. I'll be more than willing to explain.

And that is why you guys are being hypocrites. When Trezeguet scores those kind of goals he's just lucky and a poucher and not good for anything else. When DP does it then he's great cos he was in the right place at the right time.
Yeah I was just about to point that out. Just imagine if the roles were switched around at the Olympiastadion, with Del Piero beating two defenders and shooting the ball at Kahn only for the latter to drop and Zlatan score. I wonder who would take all the credit in this case......I bet everybody would be claiming Del Piero worked absolute magic to get that ball across to Zlatan, and the latter had an easy tap in and should have always been in that position. Now we come back to reality and people give Del Piero all the credit for the tap in and say Zlatan was "only trying to shoot." That's the sort of bias you see around here all the time. If Del Piero makes the goal it's something special. If Zlatan makes it it's not that special at all.

And once again you see that these unreasonable Del Piero posters are the people who cause our captain the most grief with their absurd claims. Now all of us have to resort to "bashing" Del Piero to prove these people wrong. If it was not for those people who speak fallacies about Del Piero we wouldn't have to go through this time and time again.

sure you do...
mutu was praised so high ''mutu must score bla bla shit''
but the poor guy played his first match
i didnt wanted to praise him because he hasn't shown anything yet in the club.
but critisizing dp is also not good
if you start critisizing zlatan/canna/zambro/emo/camo id feel the same as now.
i love all the players at juve (except blasi) and i know when its time to praise or complain about a player
its not the moment now to complain dp because he had a difficult year but he managed to put in a rather ''acceptable'' preformance.
if you started to critisized zlatan for kind of same reasons, then ill be mad at you to, because he doesn't deserve it

I'm sorry Andy, but I don't know who you're talking about here. I cerainly am not getting raped in this discussion, and I certainly don't think my points are wrong.
Don't worry I'm not talking about you kthx. :)

Actually it is them who call it "bashing" just because it stands in way of them and a "vertical hand motion" as Zizou called it.

So?
It wasn't Buffon's best season neither why don't blame him?
Not that I want you to blame him but give me the reason why Del Piero is being critisized when he preforms underachieved and other players not?
Buffon also has a massive salary...

Man you cant go imagining scenarios and assume that it would actually happen, I might be wrong but i dont remember anyone criticising Zlatan. I remember Zlatan being the best man on the pitch against Bayern, and everyone was praising him in the match thread. I know that i gave him most of the credit for the goal.

I dont mean to be disrespectful but your last paragraph is absurd, you "bash" DP because some people over-praised him, thats a bit strange, is this supposed to balance everything out?

Not as huge as DP's, but that is not the point.

If I were a new fan and only heard about DP from what his fans over here say, I would be expecting to see the new Maradona. But reality is completely different.

Honestly, I don't ever recall a player as hyped as DP is. If he wasn't at Juve he would have long been forgotten.

It's a fact actually. The only reason why I would participate in this sort of discussion is if some posters are speaking false truths about our players, especially when it's between Zlatan and DP. None of us hate Del Piero, infact I love him very much. But I will not stand for people who don't look at things objectively. In an argument you must point out the weaknesses in the other poster's case, and in this thread that means showing them by hand what Del Piero has done this season- unfortunately that means criticising Del Piero. If people would not speak rubbish about our captain we would not have to criticise him. It's as simple as that.

Baggio was our captain and flag (and a far better player than DP as anyone who saw both players can testify). Thing is that when his time at the club was over he moved on and accepted the fact that the club had found a younger player than him.
When you'll find the right replcament for Del Piero, then you can come back to announce us, untill now, he's our Flag.
