The lack of attacking gameplan in the last 2 games was evident.

Against packed defences, we mostly advanced to distance of 20-30 meters of the opposition goal and that is where our attacks brake apart. We looked clueless in the most important phase of the attack.

Sadly, I don't see us getting better under Igor to the point of being contenders for Scudetto. I just don't see it, no matter the players we bring in this summer.

Napoli are the clear favorites next year and we will fight Milan, Inter, Atalanta, Roma and Lazio for 3 remaining CL places.

Changes Xabi did make the difference. We are depending too much on direct play to Yildiz and Kolo. Once Xabi figure this out, man marked Yildiz and Kolo, our team clueless in attack.

I hope he can trust more in Mbangula, Luiz and understand their characteristic. Luiz as a vertical passer can help release Nico as additional runner. Mbangula also probably can help more than Kostic with his dribbling.

He is my take on What I have seen

no progress at all..

Against city and real I Think we had over 20 shots on target (against us) that is terrible. Its not like we are attacking like Barca and concede, we sit deep but still we are open!

I hate our system, we play 5221. Our midfield is beeing run over, cause the u are outnumbered!

and we have no choise but to sit deep when playing with 5 defenders.
Zero intensity. No pressure.

only thing i Think we are good at is counter attack!

i did not expect us to win. But I Want to see a plan! There is non!

Nothing necessarily wrong with being a counter-attacking side. Mourinho's Inter and Atletico Madrid did it. Juve sat back in a 3-5-2 half the time during the Scudetto run. It takes quality players to pull off though. A top defence and clinical forwards, which we lack.

Disagree. Allegri 2 and Motta both used the good ol' "just play and attack" approach but he had players who were technically and tactically bereft of the capability to do well.

Now we finally have players being used properly to allow them to create. The attacking plan is simple: Yildiz and Connie are our playmakers and it's Locatelli's job to dictate the way to get the ball to them. We caused Madrid quite a lot of problems before our lack of depth became an issue. If Kolo's finishing had been better we'd have taken the lead.

This is still early days as well, we've not even had a preseason. Everybody needs to calm right down

We're horrifically unfit.

That's honestly been the main thing holding us back these last 5 years. Coaches don't matter if we're blowing out our cunts after 60 minutes.

From what I heard, weather conditions are pretty extreme too? But yeah, they're all unfit. That must be #1 on the priority list this summer camp. They're all young guys; send them through hell and back.

I still think that if you got a bang average but solid group of players & got them up to the fitness levels of a PL team you'd dominate Serie A.

I guess in a way that's what Conte does.

The way we "press" looks like clips from 50 years ago. Idk what your average Serie A coaching staff does for physical prep but it can't be good.

I hate Tudor's formation but our squad is broken so I'll give him time. Also, you can see how little he trusts our big signings, they are so poor. On top of that, if it's that easy to displace our defenders then our gameplan is in the bin immediately. We really should've taken our chances early so we could then counter for the rest of the game.

Furthermore, the players are fatigued physically and mentally. So much change and uncertainty, also with freezing players, Motta's behaviour towards players and Guintoli's handling of Motta's sacking, it's totally shit and of course a player will not want to waste time with us. Even not being able to sign Conceicao is a sign to Yildiz and co that we're a joke. We don't have the personalities of old, but the players know who the liabilities are and our prospects if we can't secure talented young players.

Looked like a classic example of food poisoning and I can blame only 1 guy for this. Suddenly I recall Yildiz having stomach issues before our game against Atalanta and entire team looked as if they had spent a night on a toilet.
