It’s Conte or Tudor, no one else should be considered imo. And I’m still not sure dumping Tudor is the right move, no matter how much of a “guarantee” Conte is. His shelf life is so short.

I really don’t want Tudor. He's got the right attitude but is Pioli level at best.
Having said that, Tudor didn't have the luxury of having a fully fit team, let alone half-decent players (other than Yildiz, Thuram, and Di Gregorio). But hopefully next year, we should have a fit Bremer, and a more mature Yildiz.

i don't think anything is done yet, it's all just speculation.
that said, i don't mind tudor and i thought he did a good job. but in case he stays, fucking hell, this club. juventus should be able to secure its primary targets, and today that's conte. everything else is a failure. and failing before the season even starts is so unlike juventus. our banter era will never end if we continue like this.

He didn't blow us away but he had a demoralised squad, depressed fanbase and a very specific mission with a short time frame. He fulfilled his mission. I don't think we were in 4th when he took over were we?
Not only that but from the first game the team looked an improvement. Signing him permanently wouldn't be all that exciting but I'd be confident of a stronger season next year.

Palladino did really well with a poor Fiorentina team and cultivated a good attacking side. I don't want him, but I'd like him more than Tudor who seems very limited. Gasperini won't be consistent enough, they always stumble at critical moments and that loss in the UCL knockouts is a major red flag.
I like Maresca, smart manager and blasted Betis in the second half. Tudor will fire up the team, but I need to see some tactical flexibility. Motta went into a slump and never recovered, he had no idea and broke up the dressing room. No more dinosaurs please.

There seems to be this narrative that Tudor is just a rah rah cheerleader type manager, but he showed a more functional modern setup (plus the ability to implement it) in a month or whatever than Motta did his entire time here. They pressed like crazy and never stopped trying to go forward. These are staples of his past sides, so he has a clear playing style. He also got more out of his players than Motta did, and seemed to understand everyone’s best position. I have some questions about his defensive abilities, but he also had very little to work with. I mean just look at the backline he was forced to play in the last game of the season.
Give him a healthier/more talented squad and a proper amount of time, and I think he would win a lot. He’s never had the opportunity to manage a bigger club, I think he’s earned that chance now. It’s so hard to find a manager that players respond to, we shouldn’t take it for granted.

I find the same. He's not just there to light a fire. I found that we were better in every area of the pitch. Motta was putting barely 4 players in attack. Wingers isolated completely.
With Tudor there was sometimes 6 attackers across. CBs overlapping. And STILL we conceded less. And almost nothing with 11 men.
In the small sample he's the best since Sarri. Maybe not saying much but it's obvious to me.

Tudor got the job done albeit barely and he's been in this situation before of getting teams out of tough situations (He managed to prevent Udinese to avoid relegation for example iirc) but that's where it ends for him. Almost 12 years of coaching and he's barely had a consistent run at any of the club he's managed. Tends to have regular meltdowns as well.
You can talk about his setup/tactics and the improvement from Mossadball all you want (which shouldn't be a benchmark) but it's very likely that this time next year, we'll be looking for a new manager.

If Conte is not coming, this guy deserves another year. Afterall he took over highly dysfunctional team that had struggled entire season to keep the lead, that had conceded 7 goals in Motta's last 2 games. To change this from the get go and over the course of 9 games to secure the CL is an accomplishment. He averaged 2 pts per game which is the highest of any coach since the last time we won the title. Well done Igor.
He did a good job to turnaround a team going in the wrong direction. He deserves credit for that and meeting the objective of 4th place.
But let's not pretend that there weren't some really poor performances (e.g. Parma), poor choices of players (Savona LCB, Nico played constantly, Kelly as CB, Chico overlooked until late in the season, too much faith in Dusan), a recurring problem of conceding goals early in the second half/struggling to score in second half and bizarre substitutions (e.g. Lazio).
