True story: I played futsal with Tudor in high school in the same team. He was obviously much better than me, but there were folks in our team who were Messi for him, yet they never came even close to playing for Hajduk, let alone to have Tudor's career.

Hopefully now we have another chance to decide whether Koop, Susan etc are any good and were just misused and abused by Motta.
Dusan is gone either way, only saving grace is that maybe Tudor can get a tune out of him and bump his value back up

Thoughts on the new Pintus getting the axe as well?
Mate, I've already owned up to motta and Luiz multiple times already

We have 9 rounds to play until the end of the season, Three of these matches are away matches against our main three rivals for the 4th spot (Bologna, Lazio, Roma).
Even with the best coaches in the World, I'd say that our chances to reach the 4th place were at best around 50%. With Motta it was 0%. He lost the locker-room and that was it.
This is the reason why I didn't care who will replace Motta, as long as someone replaced him. We all knew that the best managers will not leave their teams, or, if they were without a team, won't join a toxic team with only 9 rounds to go.
If we replaced Motta in March, it was always gonna be someone like Tudor. As a matter of fact, the choice we had was: 0% chance to make CL with Motta or 20-30% chance to make the CL with someone else, who's not an elite coach.
I'm glad that we're going with the second option.

You think we are gonna stick with Tudor for the next season?

Not sure how is it possible to judge his success here. If he ends up getting the job done and claiming 4th spot, is it risky/smart if we stick with him? I actually fear sacking him and getting a worse coach (old mentality Italian) afterwards. If he doesn't end up 4th, while being a good coach, how fair is to sack him if he wasn't given a proper chance

I don't know. We probably won't. Maybe if he secures the 4th place and then does surprisingly well at the club world cup.

Even reading above still want him to succeed! An extraterrestrial could become manager and still feel "just win baby." Hope your boy does well!

In my opinion Igor Tudor is probably one of the best short term solutions we could find under the current circumstances, he knows the club and will demand a winning mentality while keeping tactics simple(hopefully by just fielding players in their correct roles/positions can already make a big difference), which should be enough to at least give us a much better chance at securing that 4th spot.
