Igor #Tudor on @DAZN_IT interviewed by Ciro #Ferrara:

WHAT DOES #JUVENTUS REPRESENT?
"For me, it truly represents a part of my life.
It has built me a lot as a person and also in my work as a coach.
If I can say it personally, #Juve is a part of me."

PAST AT JUVE
"Juve won the #ChampionsLeague in those years; it was unreal.
It was very special to see #Zidane training alone on a pitch with people who prepared him.
These are things that stayed with me from those years.
We always carried the goal and the balls ourselves.
Now there are 30 people to carry the goal and the balls.
Those are different times.
Now it's much more difficult."

MEMORIES OF THAT GROUP
"I want to talk about Birindelli, Pessotto, Montero, Ferrara, and Del Piero.
Alex would get very angry if he missed even a training match.
The famous 'Juventus style'
In life, I always do the same thing: I teach with actions and examples.
Few words and the consistency of not turning away when someone He's wrong.
Always stay focused on training; the game is the easiest part."

BREMER'S RECOVERY
"He's enormously important from every perspective: as a player and as a leader.
The locker room needs him and his charisma.
He's a great guy; he's always available.
Would he have been a starter with Ferrara and Montero?
Maybe not with two, but with three, yes (laughs)."

FIRST DAY AS MANAGER
"Wonderful feelings, because I didn't play much as a footballer.
I quit early due to ankle problems.
I always had that feeling of not having given everything I could, and since I started coaching at 31, I dreamed of coaching Juventus. I felt indebted to this club."

#JUVENTUSINTER
"This game is worth more than 3 points. For me, it's easier to prepare for these types of matches.
Inter is a great team, with mature players who come with a significant background.
We'll play our cards right; we want to go. with our strengths and work on our weaknesses.
Then we'll see who wins."

SCUDETTO
"It's obvious this team can fight to win it.
At the start of the season, in a couple of meetings, I talked about the possibility of winning the league and about the goals, then I close the door and don't talk about it again for the entire season.
I only talk about concrete things because talking about goals is useless; you have to achieve them, not just talk about them."

VLAHOVIC
"His situation with the expiring contract is very particular.
It will do him very well; he's 25 years old, he's still developing as a person.
His best years are ahead of him; he's halfway through his career.
He's a strong player; his growth has been significant, and he's done it alone. He's found the strength to stay focused and engaged during a super difficult time.
I try to give him love when he needs it, and when he needs the support, I give him the support."

PLAYER HE WANTS AT HIS JUVE
"Zidane
Zizou is the "football"

YILDIZ
"The other day I was talking to them and I noticed that I never say anything to Yildiz in front of others, because he always does everything he has to do.
We rarely say anything to him, both from a playing and behavioral perspective.
The difference is made by the inner motivation one has to achieve and to do what one must do every day.
Yildiz is proving that he can do it, and I hope he continues to do so every day.
He has all the attributes to become a true top player."

Finally a coach that says Yes we aim for the Scudetto and not just hide or downplay his team. It has a psychology effect when downplaying it but since we need something different I am glad he said that.
I really like his attitude as coach, I just hope that he can grow and achieve greatness for this club, on paper he can do it but I fear he is still too raw to really fight with Conte.

If he shows we can fight with Napoli for the Scudetto (not even talking about winning but just giving them a fight) - our coach search is over and he should be given the confidence to continue his work.
It wont be easy to achieve that even with his attitude, Conte is known for his efficiency and points collecting (I think we made the all time highest points during his tenure)

He has roots and agency. Unlike previous coaches there seems to be a genuine vested interest, belief, and desire to carry on what HE knows a Juventus. Not Jj

Tudor in 3 points pre Juve Inter

️ “There won't be any graduation exams in this game”
️ “Looking at the numbers of #Vlahovic, he's never been in this form in his life ”
️ “Conceição we'll see tomorrow, it's 50-50. Koopmeiners? Let's leave him alone, he has quality and will do well”

I refrain from these compliments and wait to see what he brings to Juve. We usually say this at the beginning of every coach's career, especially when they get results at the beginning of the season and against under dog teams.

It’s already the 70th minute of Juve–Inter, but honestly I’ve seen everything I needed to about Igor Tudor long before now. As I’ve said here before (and will keep saying), he hasn’t added a single thing to his coaching since his Galatasaray days in Turkey.

He’s still obsessed with building from the back, still bottles it in big derbies, still has no idea how to use the squad to its full potential, and still offers zero attacking patterns or structure.

By the 70th minute I already knew we weren’t winning this match. With a proper manager, this was the kind of game we could’ve taken comfortably.

Edit: Literally three minutes after I posted this, we conceded and went 3–2 down. We wasted 74 minutes with Koopmeiners and Vlahović out there, when it was crystal clear they weren’t going to change a thing. Meanwhile guys like Jonathan David and João Mário were sitting on the bench... This guy isn’t even an average coach, honestly.

Just an aliexpress version of modern day Mourinho. Trying to play a low back at every single occasion and bank it all on set pieces and individual moments of Yildiz.

0 intention for the win today,
