I got this funny feature from the mirror concerning Euro2004 teams. If they were a Premiership team they'd would be:

Spain
Spurs: Glamorous, play attractive football but with no end product.

Russia
Leeds: Former superpower but now only famous for their fall from grace.

Portugal
Manchester City: Packed with big names, but ageing stars flatter to deceive.

Greece
Leicester: Capable of pulling off a surprise result but on the wane.

--------

Switzerland
Everton: Solid, with a few stars.. but not enough overall class to go any distance.

Croatia
Bolton: Rag-bag of an outfit but can be surprisingly good on their day.

France
Arsenal: Oozing flair, can score at will and, of course, they have Thierry Henry.

England
Newcastle: Much-hyped, but have done nothing since the swinging sixties.

-----------

Sweden
Charlton: Organised, good team spirit and hard to beat.

Italy
Liverpool: Living off former glories but capable of pulling off a surprise.

Denmark
Aston Villa: Around the fringes but never grasping the big prize.

Bulgaria
Middlesbrough: Unfashionable, but quite nice when you get there.

--------

Holland
Chelsea: Star-studded line-up but find it hard to gel sometimes.

Germany
Man United: Once all-conquering, but now on the slide to mediocrity.

Czech Republic
Birmingham City Hard-working and go quietly about their business.

Latvia
Wolves. Okay in parts but struggle to hold their own at this level.

----------

That was just for fun. You can make up your own list or have a Serie A one :)
