Abramovich will easily pay 30 M $ for Del Piero or Nedved, their age is not a factor to all. If the club has the money to spare, and they... feel like it, for example Wenger wants Del Piero - if he had Abramovich's money - he'll pay that much. They're true Galacticos. btw, I don't think Trez is worth more than Del Piero on the market... people recognise that Del Piero's potential is much higher than it is when he's benched... like they do for Recoba for years.

Are you serious, Trezeguet is worth 2 or even 3 times more than Del Piero.

Does anyone agree with me if I say REcoba is way better than Del Piero?
Who's better is debateable (at least on their current respective abilities, there would be far less of a comparison with a pre-injury Del Piero), but whatever the outcome the gulf between the two wouldn't be all that big at all.

what do you mean feel like it. that doesnt mean anything. technically you could pay any ridiculous amount of money for any sort of player if you had the money and felt like it

what would be the best possible price we'd be able to get for them?
ignore the price chelsea would pay for them.it'll be far from realistic.

some wild guesses regarding some of the players :

del piero : $10 million?
trezeguet : $25 million?
zlatan : $45 million?
buffon : $45 million?
cannavaro : $20 million?
thuram : $6 million?
emerson : $22 million?
viera : $22 million?
mutu : $15 million?
zalayeta : $5 million?
nedved : $13 million?
zambrotta : $35 million?
blasi : $7 million?
chilleni : $9 million?
giannicheda : $7 million?

chimenti : minus $200 million.

just some guesses.they could be way off mark obviously.

discuss.

dp agreed
trez agreed
zlatan id say 35 mill
buffon 25 mill
canna 10mill
emerson agreed
viera agreed
mutu agreed
zala agreed
nedved agreed

ur talking rubbish, why in gods name would abramovich pay 30mill for dp or 32year old neddy

he didnt get rich by making stupid choices, besides why would mourinho want dp or neddy when hes got crespo and robben

abramovich dnt buy cuz he feels like it its because his manager wants him, not because he does

hes a businessman not an idiot

True, allot of the time when Chelsea bid on players i believe they do it just to raise the price and fvck with their competition. Its actually a very smart strategy.

I only put Abramovich as an example... he'd be happy btw to buy Del Piero because is a champion and he has the experience. Barcelona will probably not sell Eto'o , but if he will get Del Piero, he'll get him, he does buy old guys, and del piero is not that old, but again, only an example. many will pay that for him, and it's been reported many times in the recent past too. and lol, how exactly is crespo better than del piero, geez.

not in a million years... trez is only 3 years younger as it is, and possibly even more injury prone..

The difference between 28 and 31 is huge, it's not "just 3 years".

Plus, Trez has a better reputation in Europe.

how many old players has he bought exactly for you to say he buys old players

only makalele and crespo, although crespo was 28 when they actually bought him.

i think there are many people who would say crespo is better than todays dp, also what use would dp be in a 4-5-1/ 4-3-3- that chelsea play, hes not hardworking enough to play on wing and not powerful enough to play upfront on his own

if i was chelsea manager i would take crespo over dp, as hes more useful for the team
