I hope you guys take it from the freezer and pop it in the fridge for 5-10 minutes before consuming. I only found that out like last week..life will never be the same again.

Probably is primarily, but I prefer to eat ice cream the way it's intended..not chew it like a hungry schizophrenic.

Only a few blocks from me there's this place called Mitchell's. Best ice cream in SF. Oddly enough for the name, it's of the Filipino variety. So unlike the dense gelato, it's pretty airy. But still -- it's pretty killer. It also comes in some rather filipino flavors like lychee, halo halo, ginger, buko, and ube. It's all good.... and there are lines out the door even when we're having a typical SF August night with 12°C temps, rolling fog, and 40 km/hr winds.

Last night I had their Dulce de Leche, giving props to all the Latinos in the 'hood. :)

breyers cherry vanilla. A shitload of icepacks from when my elbow, foot and ankle got shattered all at one time, and some frozen tv dinners. Its funny cuz theres still some blood stains on the inside wall of one of the compartments
