Tbh, I have no problem with Sami, he is an experienced veteran, ex-mannschaft captain etc. His salary is too big for his role, but it's not his fault. Blaise doesn't suit Sarri, he probably should go.
Sami looks like a readymade guy for coaching or even managing role, classy player.

especially being a box to box mid, now that his legs have gone it really hurts him
im actually suprised he hasnt been converted into a dm, or holding mid, good enough with the ball and smart enough to read the game, his lack of pace would not he that much of an issue

completely agree, Max tried him once or twice as a DM and I thought he did amazing, but it never went past this for reason
